We had our evening spent here. Relaxing environment. I'd say it's unspoilt and truly gives a pleasant feeling when stepping out. Courteous staff and good delicious food served. Planning to go this April too!

If you want to experience a piece of the British Raj, captured in time, go to the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club for dinner. It is hard to imagine that this place has altered much in 80 or 90 years. It is not the modern sanitised version of Empire experienced in a refurbished Raffles hotel or the like, it is the... More

We spent one night at the accommodation due to its convenient location. Compact yet clean rooms Wash rooms etc. However the food was not upto our satisfaction - both dinner and breakfast we had at the club restaurant. Efforts of few staff to offer personalised Service commendable. Views of the Gold Course was stunning. Value for money

We stayed in an old room for a couple of nights. The room was indeed old, which made it kind of charming. Only the carpet was a little bit too old looking. There is a tea making set with tea, coffee and sugar provided. The bathroom was clean and had nice towels, toilet paper and soap. For an extra fee... More

We stayed at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club for seven nights in December 2014. Our room in the new wing was a good size and comfortable. The member's bar has a charming colonial era atmosphere (with a very strict dress code). Not only were the staff extremely helpful (especially Krishnan) but the food was of a high quality too.

This is situated in the golf club in nuwara eliya and we spent 2 nights here. The rooms are relatively small, but clean and well maintained. We stayed at the new wing and they had 2 twin beds, which they quickly put together. The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. The food, specially the breakfast is good and the... More

travelling on work we decided on some R&R in Nuwara Eliya. The colonial time hill station known for its charm and cool chimes. The golf club is an old establishment that has preserved its traditions and heritage well The rooms in the new wing are small but very cozy It has the basics you need and most of all its... More

I love this resort for lots of reasons- the extremely helpful and cheerful staff who gave personalised attention, great green patch, beautiful birds outside the rooms, good food, taste of the old British comfort and stay. The place is great and convenient for all golf lovers. I stayed here for a night and enjoyed every aspect of the stay. Strongly... More

Well, I have read some of these reviews and had to add my pennies worth. I have been to the golf course and stayed in their rooms 3 times (and going back again in a few days). The only complaint I have is that their beds are very firm. Staff have been great, service excellent, food fantastic. Nothing better than... More

I notice two of the reviews of this place are for the Hill Club, which is an entirely different property close to the Golf Club. I have been visiting and staying at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club since the 1970's to present day, and one of the things I love about it is that it has barely changed in it's... More
