Large bedrooms with nice aspect to garden. Gardens lovely especially for sitting in and having tea/coffee. Cosy indoor seating areas and bar. Staff extremely helpful- they arranged doctor's visit and a packed breakfast for a 5am start. Good pool room but why do all hotels charge for this? Food adequate; we wouldn't recommend the Chinese restaurant.

Chose this hotel because it is very central. Colonial building stuffed with antiques. Very pretty, beautifully maintained garden. Rooms were spacious with comfortable beds, satellite TV and efficient hot showers but bring a plug if you want a bath. Friendly, helpful staff.
