Kuramathi as an island was a beautiful place. The beaches were picture perfect and the snorkelling out at the drop off was fabulous. We stayed for a fortnight in one of the Beach bungalows in the Blue Lagoon. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was well decorated, spacious and we particuarly loved the outside shower. The only... more

We stayed in one of the beach bungalows in the 'posh' end - the Village down the other end is a bit more populated, and not quite as special. But, when all's said and done, this really is a dream location. It's not at all cheap, but an absolute holiday of a lifetime. Staff are attentive, but not too overpowering;... more

We flew from Colombo ( we were on a tour of Sri Lanka the week before) with Sri Lankan Airways and as usual, they were professional, had excellent food ( better than any other airline I tried from BA, to Air France, Emirates, Virgin etc..) and the direct flight from London was great- although the check in queues at Heathrow... more

Overall our trip to Kuramathi Blue Lagoon was great. The Island is lovely, food brilliant and the dive school absolutly fantastic. The only downside was the room, we had a water villa, it was ok but we felt it was a little tired and in need of a make over. It also didnt have a sun deck, this was particually... more

Firstly - apologies for the length of this review! I LOVED Kuramathi. Ive spent years dreaming about going, and my other half very kindly brought me for my 30th birthday. I did a huge amount of research, to find the perfect combination of a good standard of room, food, beach, activities, location and the all inclusive option. I was afraid... more

We stayed in the beach bungalows in the Blue Lagoon which is the sandbank end of the island. Reading the previous review, yes It was noisy with the rain and winds I must say but... more

Well let me say this first... WOW, what an amazing location. This has been my first time in the Maldives and I wasn't disappointed. We stayed in a water bungalow in the blue lagoon and to wake up to views over the crystal clear lagoon made the 10 hour flight really worthwhile! We did the air taxi both ways and... more

Pre Departure Booked direct with Kuoini who were first class. Pre booked our seats with Sri Lankan both ways through their London office. On advice of other reviewers row 10 H&K are the best. Just behind business class, Legroom a good 34-35 ". Departure Day Arrived at Heathrow about 4 hours before the flight (yes, we know we were early,... more

My husband and I went to Kuramathi Blue Lagoon in March for two weeks. Kuoni first told us that they had no allocation left for the Blue Lagoon but they could put us in the Kuramathi Village. I wasn't happy with this as we were spending a lot of money, I'd done lots of research and I wanted our holiday... more

Stayed in Kuramathi Blue Lagoon for 2 weeks in Beach Bungalow. Spacious room, kept tidy with twice-daily cleaning. Had fabulous wheather. Breakfast is decent, dinner is mediocre. Evenings switch between buffets and set dinners; latter are below expectations. Staff are lazy, and schedules are to suit staff rather then guests. Very expensive drinks, 1,5 Ltr bottle of local desalinated water... more
