Arrived at Hotel Nikko Northland Obihiro quite late in the day and was warmly met by the staff and very quickly shown to the rooms we had booked. Rooms were excellently appointed and were spacious. Car parking was a breeze in the underground parking. We stayed two nights with a young family. The staff understood our very bad japanese and... More

This hotel is located just next to the JR Obihiro station and is walking distance to restaurants and shopping malls. It's also near to a mega mall with supermarket and some shopping. Room wise, it's of good size with modern classy furnishing. Our package included breakfast which I think it's average. There's launderette facility in this hotel which certainly came... More

Stayed here with my wife and two young kids (ages 2 and 4). The hotel is wonderfully taken care of and is a very comfortable hotel to stay at while visiting Obihiro or exploring the nearby areas. There are coin laundry facilities on-site which makes it perfect for families and the morning breakfast is exceptional. Keep in mind, it's not... More

Located adjacent to the JR Station, the Hotel Nikko Northland provides a comfortable place to rest in what appears to be Obihiro's premiere hotel. Check-in was efficient and painless, with a low-floor twin room assigned. The decor of the room was somewhat dated, although both beds were comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. Standard amenities including fridge, safe, robes, and... More

Excellent room and location - right next to JR Obihiro. Front desk staff very nice, especially Ms Shimizu - friendly and helpful (Many thanks Ms Shimizu 清水小姐!). If we come to Obihiro again, for sure will stay here. Highly recommended.

Hotel is conveniently located next the JR station. Walking distance to shopping complex and restaurants. We only stayed for one night on the way back from Akan to Sapporo. We visited the Sahoro Bear Mountain and Chitose Outlet shopping before heading back to Sapporo. Room here is spacious and clean with free wifi. There seem to be many Singaporean in this... More

This hotel is a Nikko property which, I believe, is being operated in cooperation with Japan Rail Hokkaido now. The room was small..a bit larger than a business hotel in Japan...but much better appointed, with high quality toiletries and a very comfortable bed. The hotel issues small wifi routers free of charge, which simply plug in to the room LAN... More

From the moment of check-in until check-out everything was perfect about this hotel stay! The staff were very helpful and the room was great value for money. The hotel is located right next to the train station and shops and restaurants are just a few minutes walk away. I asked for a wi-fi router (free of charge) and the internet... More

Hotel booked by Japanese colleagues, so I was in their hands. Room was comfortable and big enough (including the bed). Food was to a good standard, I had every breakfast there and only one lunch on the 6 day trip. Beware that breakfast is more Japanese style than European, but I got used to the pork stir fry and rice... More

This is a fairly high-end hotel, yet I got the room at a great price through JAPANiCAN.com. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and more spacious than a lot of hotels in Japan. The hotel abuts the train station, making it super convenient. It is close to the city library and art museum.... More
