Very nice hotel with a beautiful surrounding! You feel like in the jungle. Staff was also very friendly and the food was good. We had the family room which was really nice. The only disadvantage is the noisy road below. But we certainly would come back!

This beautiful place is tucked away from the city centre of Ubud but the surrounds and the staff make the trip to and from town worthwhile. The staff are so so friendly, genuine and very accommodating. We had no problems going into town and back because of the shuttle services they provide and we found that whenever we asked for... We spent five nights at Alam Sari and couldn't really fault it. Everything from the staff, to the food and natural surrounds were beautiful. The only criticism could be the rooms need a bit of updating but that wasn't really an issue. And the roosters during the night can be a bit noisy but hey, you are staying in rural... More

I stayed at the Alam Sari with my mother for 3 nights. Firstly, you definitely need to use the hotel transfer and not risk it in the taxi. On the drive there we went the most convoluted route and had I be in a taxi I would have been nervous that they were going to try to rip me off.... More

Alam Sari is a wonderful, intimate, extremely friendly hotel. The staff is warm and makes their guests welcome in a genuine manner. The bungalows are roomy, extremely clean and well appointed. By all means avail yourself of the complimentary village tour, which includes an interesting and informative visit to the organic garden.

I went here with group of friends to spend a weekend. It was beautiful two bedroom villa with direct view to the forest. The staffs were very friendly, location is out of the way but this should be no problem for those Ubud lovers who indeed seek for a peaceful ambiance. The breakfast is delicious but the portion is quite... More

This was our second visit to the lovely hotel as we really enjoyed our first visit 2 years ago - we even stayed in the same room!! coincidence? Anyway what a very relaxing place to stay. The food was amazing. I think I tried all of the Balinese/Indonesian dishes and I really enjoyed them all. The service was 1st class... More

the staff just can't do enough for you. Very relaxed atmosphere. But it is in bad need of basic maintenance and a better way to access the place. The main entrance involves over 50 very steep large stairs that are not on the lovely public video . The other way in is via the car park it involves more stairs... More

Fantastic everything, staff, food, rooms, pool and an awesome yoga room. The included walk to Keliki village was a highlight of our stay for many. Because we were a group we were never charged for the shuttle into Ubud when we wanted to go at different times. The chef was amazing - everything from pumpkin and sage ravioli to a... More

This resort is situated in the beautiful forests just north of Ubud, Bali. The resort faces Mt. Agung the highest mountain in Bali; sunrise with Mt.Agung in the distance is the VERY BEST view ever! My wife has been on 3 retreats there and I have stayed there with her and friends on one ocassion. Try their homemade mixed fruit... More
