This was the second time I stayed at Alam Sari. After my first visit I can not come to Bali without spending at least a few nights here. The rooms are all separate villas which all give a great view of the valley. As the hotel is small it is never over crowded and the great friendly staff really make... More

The setting is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. It overlooks hills and rice fields. The temperature was much cooler than other parts of Bali and very refreshing. The staff were warm, friendly and very attentive. The facilities were all that we needed and very well kept, plus the traditional food was delicious! I will definitely go back to Alam Sari... More

Alam Sari is all you want if you're looking for a relaxing stay in a very beautiful surrounding in the Ubud area. We stayed in the big villa with 5 adults and our one year old daughter. The villa is really big and has fantastic views! The service is top notch! All staff were really great, they even brought us... More

We had a gorgeous stay at the Alam Sari, located in a quiet village outside of Ubud. It was easy to get into Ubud via their free shuttle van, but the best part was the location in the beautiful quiet village surrounded by lush hills and rice paddies. My boys (ages 4 and 6) especially loved the tour of the... More

We wanted a quiet place to stay for a change, rather than spend our holiday in a resort, or in Kuta. Alam Sari turned out to be more than we could have asked for, the view is breath taking, the food was so good, with most of it being sourced from their organic garden, we didn't go anywhere else to... There are very few views that will rival this one. It is exactly how it looks in the photos, if not better. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. I accidently booked a "village stay" for two nights and actually got to stay in the village about two miles down and participated in the customs of a traditional Baliiense family. It... More

The charm of Alam Sari is its relationship with the village of Keliki. The village supports the hotel, and vice versa. Walking through the sawah (rice paddies) in the mornings were the highlight of the stay (thanks Dewa). The air is cool and fresh and it is in a beautiful spot. Rooms at Alam Sari are really lovely, with a... More

Our family of 5 recently stayed at the Alam Sari for 3 nights and were very impressed. In particular the staff were always smiling and helpful, took the time to explain local customs to us, and answered endless questions from our curious 12 year-old (special mentions to Wayan and Dewa). The complimentary village tour was great and Putu was a... More

We only stayed here on our last night in Bali, we thought the hotel was lovely, the staff were nice and the surrounding gorgeous. The beds were good and the rooms were nice ... some of the fittings were a little worn (stained tiles and a falling off door handle) We didnt get much sleep though - there was a... More
