Away from the city hustle bustle, a few extra minutes of taxi ride, but well worth it. If you want the true Bali experience and not expecting the commercialized Bali luxury, then this is your spot. The expectations here are way above the back packer paradise. You will enjoy your stay here no matter who you are. I almost don't... More

We booked this stay for four nights after stumbling upon it on tripadvisor. Certainly very glad that we did. Family of six staying in Villa Saraswati. You must do it if staying with family. To begin with, the breakfasts are lovely - service with a smile, lovely jams and homemade croissants. Fresh Juice, strong coffee. The villa is amazing with... More

This hotel is a little way out of Ubud, around 15 minutes d rive. It offers 3 shuttle servives per day to town or pick up back. I found it relaxing. The food was good in the hotel and not expensive. The staff were the shining winner for me. Really beautiful and very fun, excellent with my kids also. Views... More

The hotel is in the interiors of Ubud, a half hour distance from Ubud Centre but great for a quiet vacation away from the bustle of Ubud. It rests in a village called Keliki and the village tour is worth the effort. Value for money. Great Food. Staff is friendly and good. There is little noise from the road though... More

Spent a delightful weekend at this hotel. Staff are friendly and efficient and speak English well. The rooms are villa style, free standing rooms, gorgeously simple with a little patio outside each room, the ensuite even has a little garden ( but totally enclosed so no one can see in or out). My room overlooked the small pool, great for... More

We stayed at this wonderful place for our first visit to Bali and we wish we could return soon! The food was so good that we ended up eating there most of the nights - we were there about 6 days -- and don't miss the special order duck! I've travelled all over the world and have never experienced such... More

We are a couple with an almost two year old. We were looking for a local experience with comfort, and an opportunity for a relaxing time while trying to take in some of the cultural experiences this part of Bali offers. Alam Sari allowed us to do all of this. The room was charming and comfortable, there was an enormous... More

The hotel is clean and tidy , except for the jacuzzi which could have had a salt water crocodile in it if you could see into the water. The staff, and there are plenty of them appear to "hang"around and are not sure when to get something or not from you.Ít's a bit big brotherish. There does not appear to... More

I stayed here in September 2011 with my husband, and it was our first time in Bali. I can't imagine a more wonderful welcome to Bali than we received at Alam Sari. The staff were amazing: incredibly friendly and helpful, and really good at their job. We had the 'Suite' room, which had fantastic views on two sides, a massive... More
