Gaja Mina is a wonderful place to stay. The grounds are awesome, the staff friendly and helpful. It's a hike from kuta, the roads get very congested. It's about a 10 minute walk to the famous balian surf break. It's a little high priced, but we splurge last summer and will stay there again.
