Kubu Kedungu was the perfect start to our family holiday! It's beautiful location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and relaxed atmosphere enabled the whole family to kick their feet up by the pool and wind down. The staff were happy to help with anything you needed and assisted us with directions to walk to Tanah Lot through the rice paddies. The... More

The Vilas are ideally located in Bali to discover its true heart, far from the noisy western Kuta world. In the middle of rice fields, 5' walk from the beautiful black sand beach where locals like to gather (feat. great waves for sweet surf sessions without the pressure of too many white bole sharks...;)), close to a nice little village... This is a true gem. Me and my friend stayed for two days and could have stayed for two months. The design, the space the views, the careful decoration and the friendly staff all added to the true feeling of being away and forgetting about anything worldly. We left with pain in our heart. The new manager and all the... More

We stayed at Kubu Kedungu back in August 2013 and I've been meaning to write this since we came back, so sorry Daniel, better late than not at all. The place is amazing, the view across the paddy fields to the ocean is fantastic and many Bintangs were consumed just gazing out at the view or watching the Balinese go... More

We love Rice Field scenery. We chose – Tabanan, coz this city have agriculture characteristic. Daniel, the owner - is a very friendly host and he will make a good effort to make you feel at home. Kubu Kedungu is absolutely beautiful place to stay with magnificent scenery ( Rice Field - Sawah, Trees, Cow, Farmer, etc. ) It’s just... More

I only stayed one night at Kubu Kedungu, with a group of professional colleagues. My room was spotlessly clean and appeared to be new. Everything worked well, and there was nothing at all lacking in terms of inclusions. The room and Villa were tastefully decked out in traditional furniture, and the villas felt authentic without lacking modern conveniences. I did... More

The accommodations, staff & facilities were beyond my expectations at Kubu Kedungu. Quiet villas were warmly furnished with beautifully landscaped open areas. The attention to detail included the best toilet paper I found anywhere at any price in Indonesia. I enjoyed several days touring the local historic sights, rice fields & volcanic formations on scooter. Sampling local cuisine served by... More

A very quiet scenic getaway from the busy hustle and bustle of the tourist districts of Bali. Dan and the staff made our single overnight completely remarkable. I highly recommend at least a week stay and enjoy the wonderful walk to the beach or have a great local meal at the foot of the villa.

My Husband and I stayed at Kubu Kedungu for 5 days on our honeymoon. We had read the reviews online and were looking for something away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta. Kubu Kedungu offered just that. The location was peacefully nestled in the middle of rice fields and 5 minutes to the beach. The villas could not have... More

Kubu Kedungu is incredible, a real jewel. i was fortunate to spend three days there in April. It has the quality of a five star hotel, but at very, very reasonable prices. The villas are lovely, beuatifully furnished, and fully equipped. The staff are so warm, and very responsive. The pool area is a perfect place to relax, but the... More
