We booked a relaxed 3 day get-away to Bali and went to Bali Eco Stay on a recommendation as we wanted something a little different and away from the normal beach resorts. I have to say that this was exactly what we wanted and exactly what we got. A very relaxed and chilled-out place. great service and the food was... More

At Bali Eco stay, you can if you wish experience the Bali that your friends talk about. You have the choice to experience activities or just to kick back and allow the island to work its magic. There is no pretence here, no false representation. If you require something it can be sourced. The food is consistently of high standard,... More

I really enjoyed the stay, brief as I made it. The hotel is a lovely place, restful and the right mix of local ambiance with European comfort. They've done a great job of capturing what I love about Bali. Their commitment to sustainable living is genuine. And the restaurant was a pleasant surprise--excellent local fare!

My husband and I arrived after some hectic days in Ubud and Seminyak and this was exactly what we needed. So relaxing, with lovely helpful staff, healthy delicious food in the restaurant and fabulous walks through the landscapes. Thanks. We would definitely return.

I first visited the Ecostay on my friend, Natalie's, retreat in October 2013. It was a blissful experience. The setting was peaceful and relaxed, the retreat was well run with a great balance of fun and reflective activities. Every morsel of food was good, and the balinese massage a nurturing treat enjoyed by all. At the time I had a... More

This is just the most fabulous place you could wish for. We have travelled the world and it is very rare to find a place so beautiful and absent of tourists. The food is organic, freshly grown on site, and tastes great. The accommodation bungalows individual and private. The staff were wonderful. My whole family stayed here and everybody had... More

Great surroundings and beautiful open wall bungalows! Very nice food and friendly personnel. The yoga teacher was really nice. This is a place for your soul and body! Why not five? It didn't feel personal. No one said welcome to us, no one asked us to help out with activities. I had in an email several months ahead asked for... More

Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review. We are glad that generally you enjoyed your stay with us. Unfortunately while you were here, I was on one of my rare times away, so was unable to look after you personally - especially since your airline lost your luggage, which must have been very frustrating for you... It's been bit of time since we were last at Bali Eco Stay, but it was a relaxing and invigorating place to go for our midpoint while traveling around Bali. We stayed in a 2-bedroom room that had a lovely outdoor-style bathroom.shower. The beds were comfortable and the living area over looked the magnificent rice terraces. My wife and our... More

We stayed here quite some time ago, in Nov 2014. We stayed in their largest bungalow overlooking the rice paddies. We stayed a week. We also stayed 2 more weeks in other areas of Bali but this was by far our favourite. It's probably one of my favourite places I have ever stayed and I have been to plenty of... More

We stayed in the Rice Water Bungalow, overlooking the rice padi field. It was very relaxing to lounge in the living room, read a book while enjoying this view. We were initially concerned that there was no air conditioning, but the temperature was ideal and surprisingly there weren't many mosquitoes to bother us. It was a unique experience to sleep...
