We returned home from a week at Bali Eco Stay Rice Water Bungalows totally rejuvenated. This is a remote, pristine hideaway working towards self-sufficiency in water, power, food, building materials right down to the soaps and shampoos provided - and they are doing it well. Nothing to do but soak up the environment, investigate the surrounding rice paddies and jungle,... More

What a magical place, I loved every minute of my stay, unfortunately it was only 2 nights, next time I will stay for longer!! From the friendly driver to the warm welcome and the super comfortable rooms I knew I would enjoy my time. I was looking for a place to unwind and relax, and BES offered this and so... More

I so loved it here, and so grateful for being recommended by two people who also found this place amazing. The gardens and natural surrounds are absolutely stunning. I fell in love with the waterfalls and each time I visited them I had these magical places all to myself. For me it was more expensive than my usual Bali budget... More

We never normally go back to the same place twice, but couldn't resist a trip back up to Bali Eco as we really needed to unwind and it was our favourite spot from our last trip to Bali... it was just as good as we remembered with all the special touches that make you drop into the holiday vibe. Recognised... More

I'm just dreaming of returning to this oasis. I traveled there with my 4 year old son and it was so easy, nurturing, safe, and incredibly beautiful. The staff at Bali Eco Stay actually found me a room that isn't usually for rent because I really wanted to come, and they were incredibly accommodating and even had one of their... More

Dont get me wrong, the areais beautiful with all the rice fields and cacao plantations around, but i stop there, we felt like kidnapped, every single thing to do had to be done trough the reception and the price was very very expensive comparing with bali price, for example rent a bike 5$ an hour ( really?) or half day... Attention please dear Trip Advisor reader: if you are searching for accommodation with fully sealed air conditioned rooms, equipped with satellite TV, DVD, bar fridge, and excessive down lighting - please consult Seminyak Villa listings, as Bali Eco Stay is not the right place for you to holiday. This is our first poor rating in 4 years of operation, and... More

My wife, daughter and I spent our first 5 nights of our Bali holiday at Eco-Stay. We were looking for a place to relax and normalise to the time zone change (6 hours time change). Not only did we find a great place to unwind after a long trip, we soon found that we were completely mesmerised by our surroundings.... More

Our family of four children aged 13 to 5 had a wonderful stay at your incredibly natural and beautiful place. It was the Bali experience we wanted to have: living right at the terraced rice fields on the refreshingly cool mountain side, soaking in the lovely green environment and fabulous bungalow, hanging out over delicious meals at the restaurant/lounge that... Nice rooms with great views. Great mountain biking trails. Awesome Balinese massages. Food was very good. Portions were a bit small and need to be ordered in advance. It was the only inconvenience. No real place for swimming. The pond was full of branches and not very deep
