We stayed here three nights at beginning of lengthy Indo safari, and loved it. Gusti collected us from Denpasar airport as arranged months earlier. Arrival at Puri Taman Sari felt like stepping back in time to the real Bali, as we dumped our backpacks and sat to enjoy the welcome drink in a compound bordered by rice paddies. Our room... More

the staff were truly excellent and most friendly , the food was great and the breakfast is the best offering we have had in any of our travels across Asia. If you like a bit of luxury and to spoil yourself once in a while then this is the place Staff are pleasant, smiling and always willing to help. Fantastic... More

Spent one night at the Puri Taman Sari with husband and three boys. Nice welcome on arrival. Given different rooms from those requested but rooms were very nice and large and near the pool anyway so I didn't complain. The hotel is built around/within a traditional Balinese compound scattered with mango, pomelo, durian trees etc. It's very picturesque and the... More

We stayed for only a single night on a tour of Bali and would love to return for 2-3 days. The cottage we had overlooked the small pool and rice fields and was beautiful inside. Lovely simple design with comfy bed, power points, tv and art on the walls. Through the lockable door you reach your bathroom with is partly... More

We stayed here for our first night of a tour of Bali - and it was a delightful contrast to our 4*beach hotel. It was intriguing to arrive at night and be greeted by the owner and walked to our rooms over a little bridge through paddy fields. We loved being woken up by the cockrels and being right in... This special place is where we like to bring guests who are looking for something off the beaten path...a real balinese compound in the middle of the most gorgeous setting in all of Bali. Staff is extraordinary and you will find yourself in a tiny bit of heaven here.

This hotel is beautiful. The manager is absolutely charming and very knowledgeable about the local area. The rooms are lovely. We had a wonderful evening meal too. The not so good; the hotel is very spread out and our rooms were a long way from the pool, the breakfast was limited and 2 (of the 3) rooms we booked had... More

We can't contact any staff of this hotel after 11 am even the reception. For water heater and air conditon which need to be setup have to wait until morning. The hotel is very good but they have to provide night staff on duty.

This hotel was booked for us and included as part of a fantastic mountain bike tour we did with Infinity Mountain biking. We arrived at the hotel by mountain bike after spending most of the day riding. The hotel is in a lovely location in the country and is very quiet. When we arrived we got the impression we were...
