This place was a total find - the location is stunning (albeit reached via a very bumpy uncomfortable road)and very chilled , the rooms were beautifully decorated with lovely semi-outside bathrooms. This place is in the middle of nowhere. You wont be able to find it yourself so make sure to use the resort pick-up service. But once you get here it certainly is lovely. Fantastic views across hills, fields, plains and all the way down to the sea!! The rooms are spotlessly clean but I recommend the converted Lumbung (rice-silo)... more

BMR is tucked away up a very long and bumpy road, aloft from busy coastal lowlands and hubs of Semingyak, Kuta, Jimbaran and Legian. This was a real retreat and the venue did not disappoint. I only travelled to the retreat for the one night stopover. This was for one of those wonderful musical evenings conducted by Richard. It is a great place with a wonderful feel. The view from the mountains is incredible. more
