Very warm welcome with a tasty welcome drink! The stuff is really friendly and helpful (organising a doctor)!Delicious food for dinner and great breakfast! The rooms are clean, bit small but you have a veranda in front of your room to relax!

I recently spent 4 nights here (had intended 3, but added one). It's not on the beach, but is a short easy walk to the beach and backs right onto the mountains. The pool is clean and pleasant. I would like more lounge chairs by the pool rather than mats on the ground, but that's pretty minor. I had a... More

I stayed in Kubuku with my friends for a night before we left for Menjangan island the day after. The hotel was really nice, One of our rooms got the open air bathroom. And the view from our rooms was fantastic with the pool and mountain on the back. The manager and staffs were very friendly, some of the local... More

We had a great time here because the staff was friendly and we met nice people to talk with, but the rooms are pretty small and you have no place to put your bags. It was fun to do offerings with the girls in the garden. Nice idéal to bring tea at 4 to do like balinese. Great snorkeling trip.... More

The place is nice, great swimming pool and big garden. The rooms are OK but only a small window so it's really dark. The bathroom smells a little bit. The restaurant is good but more expensive than the average. We paid 300 000 IDR per night for that period which is again a little bit more than the average. One... More

Beautiful hotel with lovely, well maintained gardens. Lovely blue pool with sunbathing area and mountains as a backdrop. Very friendly and helpful staff who will go out of their way to help. We were upgraded to a Deluxe room, and were given a beautiful big room with 2 double beds and my name spelt in petals on the bed. However... More

We stayed here for 4 nights after arriving from Java and we were greeted very well with a cold towel and fruit juice. We were told that Kubuku means 'little hem' and indeed it was a home from home! Location: located 200m off the main street therefore no traffic noise. 5-10min walk to the beach (beach itself only good as... More

Stayed 3 nights at Kubuko Ecolodge in late April. It was very easy to organize diving as they have their own shop. I went diving for 2 days. On the second day we shared our boat with another local dive operator. It was easy to see that the Kubuku Dive center gave extra attention to detail and took better care... More
