On arrival we were greeted by Gede and his team. We were given a warm welcome and chose our breakfast for the next day. Honestly I know we were further out of Ubud (about 10 mins by free shuttle bus) but it was gorgeous. Our deluxe 2 bedroom villa was so beautiful, with the most comfortable bed I've ever slept... Stayed for one night only just to escape from the Kuta crowd. Pool was good. Breakfast was OK. We rode on our own bike, that was better than hop on a shuttle bus at certain hours as we have loose schedule. It was 40 minutes ride to centre Ubud, 26.3 km. Rode to Ubud at night is better than on... More

The villa is enormous, the bed was comfortable, the setting was very nice. It felt luxurious, and I loved the giant windowed walls seeing out into the little garden courtyard. I really loved this hotel. The bathroom was outdoors, which was good or bad depending on the time of day. I felt a little spooked by the idea that bugs... More

The hotel bedroom and private pool provide a high standard. The private villas are nice, however not all of the six villas provide a private pool as the pictures show. Be aware of it while booking, otherwise you will need to negotiate with the manager and he will for sure will try to charge you more for this "upgrade". Furthermore... More

Located about 1hour taxi ride from airport. Secluded area with a paddy field behind the villa. Quiet and peaceful. Daily standard breakfast is nice too. There's a min charge of hotel transport to nearby Ubud town center, cheaper than flag down taxi. Anyway, you won't be able to flag any taxi at the road outside the villa.

We spent Christmas here a few years ago with some of our children and grandchildren and it was the perfect holiday. The staff couldn't do enough for us, Koman was a very responsible and thoughtful manager and the villa itself was a bit of heaven. So much so we are going back again this year with all our children and... More

We spent 3 nights in this very nice place. We arrived in the evening and the welcome was very smilly and friendly. The lightening outside ( garden) and inside the room are very pleasant ( no white ballon!!!!). At the entrance of the villa we walk over a small pond with fishes and 2 small fountains. Inside the villa all... More

We stayed two days at Bayad in a 2 bedroom private villa, and had a great first impression of the villa upon check-in. The villa itself was beautifully decorated in balinese style, the open air concept bathrooms impressive and huge. However there were a number of problems soon after we settled in. Sketchy wifi and inadequate facilities Wifi was erratic... More

We spent chiristmas here with my family and my two children (aged 9 and 11). It was absolutely beaultiful. The staff were so lovely with my kids and couldn't have made our first vist to Bali more special. My husband still has the laundry tags on his clothes to remind him of this special time. Ubud was wonderful. Rafting was... More
