If you want quiet Tamin Wana is it. A little way from the airport but plenty to see on the way up. Been there twice and still find new things to do with walks to the little nearby town, hired a scooter to venture a little further

Wonderful secluded mysterious Villa on a small mountain in the forest of Taman West Bali National Park. Three days at the Taman Wana just wasn't enough! Incredible views from the Villa not to mention some of the most amazing scenery in all of Bali. The Villas are located in a great spot if you want to explore the nicest city... More

Although it was a bit challenging to find, it is well worth the trip off the beaten path to this incredible property--literally in the middle of a rice field. The area is virtually untouristed and the nearby towns are interesting. As nice as the resort is, it is not really geared towards families. My wife and I brought our two... More

We visited Taman Wana for a couple of days while staying in Bali. After the hustle and bustle of Seminyak it was wonderful to arrive in the peaceful haven that is Taman Wana. Our room was simple but elegantly appointed, with a magnificent four poster bed and views over the lake and lush green of the jungle. The al fresco... More

We visited Bali in the off season for 6 weeks. The rate was higher than the usual villas in Bali but the experience remained unmatched. The service was incredible, the food was delicious and beautifully prepared and our room was like a dream. The 180 degree windows made for the best views and the surrounding areas including pool and terraces... More

In the morning you can walk around the woods. The owner was so nice and the staff also nice. For Indonesian, i guess... More

Have just come back after a visit in August stayed for eight days. Located up in the mountains, in the middle of the national park, with spectacular views over paddy fields and the forest down to the ocean and Java in the distance. The Java coastline lights put on a nice show at night. The views from the dining room... More

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in August. The view and location are really beautiful and our first impression was very positive. That is until we got to our room.
