Although on the beachfront the fencing around the front creates a prison style ambiance. The rooms are huge but very tired. No WiFi when we were there. No coffee making facilities. The water in the bathroom just a drip. The pool was nice though. Overall very overpriced for what's on offer.

We only stayed 1 night, it is a bit pricey for a very tired old hotel. The ocean view room was huge with a lounge and coffee table, old TV no satellite, bathroom was an outdoor one roomy but old and need a lot of bleach splashed around. Bed had a meeting point in the middle, bit worn....kept rolling to... More

I arrived at this beach and a guy in the street pointed my taxi where to take me. The hotel is nice, clean, and very reasonably priced. The problem started 5 minutes after I got there. The manager and two others came to my room to tell me if I wanted to surf the beach I had to pay $20... More

Good little hotel built right on the point at Medewi. Wake up wander 30 meters and check the surf. Top location with a nice pool as well. Restaurant is basic but OK. Other places around locally to eat anyway. Can't beat the massages right on the beach after a surf.

Very nice stay but we foundthe food and drinks very expensive. The staff is quite nice. The owner know that there is nowhere else to go for meals so they know that they can charge what they want. The Nel/Rosema Group

Surf break out the front. Choice of accommodation. Staff very friendly and helpful. Relaxed area of Bali. No high rise, no hustle & bustle. Don't go here if you want night life. This is a sleepy little place which is untouched by the craziness of Kuta, Legian and even the bukit. This is what makes it so special. We keep... More

Have stayed at this place on three occasions over the past few years, but that will be it for me. The first couple of visits did hold some sort of rough charm about the place which was always fairly clean, both inside the cottages and outside in the gardens and restaurant. Sadly, along with a dramatic rise in the rates,... More

Service were really bad. Nothing in the line of customer service... Good location but they did not know the first thing about taking care of backpackers... Try any other hostel on the street! To summary, excellent surfing, but you'll find better hostels!

Stayed for 5 nights at the cottages. Our room faced the pool. The room was spacious enough and clean. The staff are fantastic and the grounds immaculate, however the rooms are tired and could hear our neighbours through the walls at times. I have read other reviews prior to our stay and agree with the issue about the fence blocking... More

Stayed here with my husband and 17yo son, both are avid surfers and loved it here. We stayed in ocean view villas which were extremely clean but in dire need of a renovation. Beach is for surfing only, so I spent most of my time relaxing by the pool, which was lovely. Breakfast was included and was nice. My son... More
