We spent two nights in Room 11 with a wonderful view of the rice fields. This unit has the bathroom downstairs (could be a problem for some people). We arrived on an afternoon where we had some rain and our room felt damp because of that. The next day was sunny and it was no longer damp. We were lucky... More

We stayed just for one night on the way from Amed to Pemuteran. For this short stop it was perfect, but for a longer stay our room would have been too small. There was only enough space to open one of our suitcases at a time. The bathroom was right next to our bedroom and had an open shower. This... More

We loved staying in this retreat. The view from our room was amazing. The rooms are basic and adequate. The staff is friendly...we are in Bali so that was no surprise. The restaurant serves good food and they have a wide selection of dishes from around the world, especially nice when you crave something different than rice or noodles. They... More

Myself and 4 friends stayed here last night. We luckily arrived in time for the sunset at the bar which was amazing and so serene. We had a 5 person cottage split on 2 levels with 2 bathrooms. The rate was brilliant and the food in the restaurant was wonderful also. We had an amazingly peaceful night's sleep with mosquito... More

We stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed the natural environment. The cottages are traditional and have two levels with a little balcony with a fantastic view. Would be good to have mosquito nets at the windows to be able to keep the windows longer open. Staff was very nice and smiley. Food for breakfast and dinner was average.... More

In the midst of the jungle, about thirty bungalows spread out, with astonishing views on the rice fields and the valley, very helpful staff, kcerestaurant, and a great place to start a good treck to visit the area. A must see if you're in Munduk

The location of Puri Lumbung in the village of Munduk is very beautiful: mountains and clove tree forests that provide good trekking opportunities and spectacular views. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was disappointing: the place appears neglected, rooms are not clean, lots of rubbish in the garden. Most of the staff was friendly, with exceptions at the front office. The food... More

We loved the view from our cottage in the rice fields based on a traditional rice storage barn. We felt like we were on the prow of a ship sitting high above a deep valley lined with spice groves and clouds. The soundscape from the village below added to the experience. The food was good and the grounds immaculate. All... More

This wonderful place is affordable, friendly, warm, spacious, and authentic. It is a crazy drive to get to this place -- but it is really worth the effort. The food is good and reasonably priced and the view is spectacular. Very highly recommended if you would like to experience Bali in a more traditional way. The resort does a lot... More

After a long drive from Ubud to Munduk, we were treated very poorly by the reception at Puri Lumbung. And I will definitely not return or recommend this place to anyone any more. I'll tell you why: I have been to Puri Lumbung a few times before this trip, and I was in love with the place. However this was... More
