My boyfriend and I stayed at Puri Alam Bali Bungalows for 2 nights. The room was basic, but had adequate storage for our things, a comfortable bed, and beautiful views of the mountains. The place had a bit of a smell, but our noses quickly adjusted. Water pressure is blah but there is hot water. For our first breakfast we... More

We only stayed one night In this very pretty hôtel, located at the top of the mountain at the end of the village. The views from the restaurant are amazing and the food is good. They also provide a very efficient massage, and a taxi service to anywhere In bali! The Room was spacious , and We had our very... More

The rooms and restaurant have fantastic views over the rice fields, plantations and hills. The room and bathroom was very clean and well maintained. The warm water supply was somewhat unstable as the heater often stalled. Closing the hot water tab and opening it was sufficient to restart it though. The staff was very friendly and helpfull though the english... More

Excellent value for money and fantastic views over the rice fields. The staff were friendly and helpful and additional activies were always on offer, such as cookery demonstrations and massages. The rooms were basic, but the beds very comfortable.

This place was a great find. The views are amazing and the scent of the clove trees in the air is great. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. A trek to the waterfall is worth the trek.

When quoted the price at Puri Alam we were told 250,000 rp per night. When checking out we were then told the price was 350,000 rp per night. We ended up "negotiating" a price of 300,000 rp per night. It's a fine place to stay, but make sure to get the price in writing before you check in as the... More

Puri Alam Bali is a very good surprise. The reception is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are pretty small but clean with a very hot shower (which is pleasant as the mornings can be cool in the mountains). They give you 2 free bottles of water and a snack (usually popcorn) everyday when they make up the room. Above... More

Puri Alam Bungalows were good value for money. The views were absolutely spectacular. Our room opened up onto a lovely, landscaped courtyard. The room itself was sufficient, the beds comfortable and there was hot water. I wouldn't recommend putting anything in the cupboard as it stinks and your clothes end up smelly bad. The toilet also smelt.... The restaurant of... More

Munduk was a charming little small mountain village set in a sloping hill road in North Bali. The key attractions are treks to a couple of magnificent waterfalls (nothing very big, just nice and respectably high with a very nice spray when you stand at its base). We stayed at the Puri Alam for a couple of nights. First, the... More
