This is an amazing homestay ! The staff is just sooo nice and helpful. It is composed by the family and the teenager of the village. They ALL speak a perfect French (and of course English) even the little 6 years old daughter ! The location is not closed to the "center" (even if there is not really center) but... More

We arrived with 2 children and the room was really dark and with old furniture like 50` kind of stile. The sink was liking and a bucket was put underneath to collect the water. the water coming from the shower was smelling badly and the manager told us the water come straight from the river so you literally pay to... Just back from 3 days at Atres with our 2 boys (10 and 8), it was just what we needed. We live in Jakarta and there are no word to describe how peaceful and authentically Balinese this place is, how friendly the manager Gusti, his wife Jero and their children (especially young Ngurah who accompanied my boys everywhere we went... Breathtaking views, amazing grounds, comfortable bungalows, great service....truly a wonderful experience. Reasonably priced which includes quality dinner and breakfast. This was an unplanned stopover so did not do much exploring. Will definitely return for a longer stay.

I planned to stay one night at atresvilla, i stayed 4 days. Gusti, the host organizes so many and great expeditions. the 1st day he brang us to Java to climb the Kawahijen. Food is good, rooms amazing, you have your own bungalows with a view on the rice field. It s the real rural Bali, very intersting to participate... More

Gosh, dont know where to start. This place is utterly enchanting and the people running it (Gusti and Jero) and the other staff are totally charming and lovely and you would have to be very insensitive indeed for Atres Villas not to stir up any emotions in you.... Its true most of the guests here are French (I am English... More

Great secret and peaceful address. right in the middle of a rice field!!! The amazing view from the rooms, the warm welcome and the kindness and good advice of Gusti, the manager, made our trip awesome. Lots of activities proposed, very tasty breakfast and meals, clean and big rooms, Anyway I'm quite sure its the best address in Munduk...maybe even... More

We have just returned from a three day stay at Atres Villas and what an experience! Firstly, I agree with another reviewer that Gusti is the "invisible man". He only spoke to us as we were leaving. Again, I agree with another reviewer that Villa number 5 is a disaster! It is 3 storeys high with the bedroom on top,... More

It appears that Atres Villa is a well kept french secret. Surrounded by amazing scenary, impossibly friendlier staff (fluent french speaking... not very useful to me though!), and lost in Bali, Atres Villa is a place to stay 2 or 3 days (or more) in a quite, remote area. Rooms are beautiful, pool is very nice, but specially the surroundings... More

Gusti and the lads are all very friendly, but I felt a little isolated when I first arrived, as I had to ask a lot of questions about meal times, drinking water and the basic running of the place which I thought could have been explained better. I think they may be geared towards groups more so than solo travellers,... More
