We wanted to have a weekend/anniversary getaway and after some looking around we found the Hawthorn which is located within walking distance of the old downtown of Independence. Our arrival was greeted by the owners who were extremely friendly and helpful. They made us feel at home! Besides showing us the room they also informed us on what was available... more
