I stayed at the Three Trails Inn for one night in between a visit to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City and the Truman historic sites in Independence. I stayed here for a week and loved it. Bennie and Ruth-Anne were kind and accommodating. Bennie even drove me back and forth to the train station. The breakfasts were fantastic and the location ideal for walking to the major tourist attractions in Independence.

I am a savvy traveler and this place is great. It's walking distance to the truman Museum and Library, located on a quiet street in Independence. Benny's attentiveness was just right. Excellent breakfast as well. Don't go to hotel when you stay here!

Benny's breakfasts were very good, the house immaculate, the hosts very welcoming. The house is a short distance to the Square, likely driveable for many, and a short distance to the Truman House and Library as well. Our stay at Three Trails Inn was outstanding. Our hosts were anxious to meet out every need. The house is beautiful, homey and also very clean. The breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend this B&B.
