We arrived and didn't read any reviews prior to paying up front for our room. After lunch we sat on the bed for 10 mins and started scratching and found bed bugs on our legs. We went for a walk to check out other accommodation and decided to move. The owner refused to refund our money and made out that... More

Good and friendly place! The room was nice and with hot water, the breakfast is including a fruit buffet, real great value. The wifi is unfortunatly not so good... Padangbai is nice for 1 or 2 days, on the bias tugel beach you might see turtles with snorkling!

Quick stop over after exploring all day on motor bike. You get what you pay for. Pretty basic but clean. Even though the view is nice DONT book ocean view room. The ferries and the dogs will keep you awake ALL night. Pool was ok but you can swim in the dive pool at the bar on the corner if... More

Well I have really nothing to complain about this place, but it scared the hell out of me when I read all the bedbug stories AFTER I checked in, and I might have still turned round and left if the clever lady hadn't made me pay upfront. So I walked round like a Zombie, looking at other guests' legs and... More

We stayed here for two nights. Big mistake not checking trip advisor first. We have travelled in Asia for 7 months and had no problems with bed bugs until now.  The first night I spotted a bug in the bed but didn't realise it was a bed bug until I looked it up the next day as we were covered... Because we had no problems with bedbugs in Bali so far, we didn't check the bed properly as we do normally. Big mistake. In the morning, we killed two bedbugs but it was already too late and we had bites everywhere. We told the owner but she made excuses (as written in other reviews) and mentioned that she really makes... More

We left our big bags in the hotel while we were in Gili Islands. Nobody said that we had to pay for it and there is no warning or visible notice anywhere. When we came back to pick them up after a week, he said that I had to pay 70000Rp. I tried to explain to him that nobody said... More

I stayed in this accommodation just one night. I found this place in Lonely Planet but I would have liked to have read the reviews of Tripadvisor before, otherwise I would have not stayed here at all. Paying 250.000 rp (around 25 USD) it is completely overpriced. Very low quality. They are very strict; no check-out later than 10.00 hours... More

Kerti is a spiffy-looking place right across the street from the beach, at a very competitive price. They had a staff member standing outside to recruit guests from new arrivals passing by. Perhaps that should have warned me. I was shown a room that was clean and had new-looking furnishings, 300,000 Rp with a/c or 250 with only fan, but... More

I paid the most to stay here out of all the places in Bali - 250000 IDR a night. I found Padangbai pleasant for a small port town, but locals are very greedy and used to the tourists throwing money around without thinking about what local prices should be. Theres cheaper accommodation available but if you dont want a dodgy... More
