Spent two nights here and loved the place, however it is more expensive than what we normally stay in. The rooms are amazing, we had a standard fan room which had a huge balcony, ample sized room and very clean spacious bathroom. Plenty of bright lights, although the bathroom ones could have been a touch brighter my wife says. It... More

People usually only stay a short while in Padang bai while on their way to the islands via the ferries. The hotel is far enough away not to be disturbed by the ships. There are busy periods in the mornings and evenings with dive school activity but it is generally quiet. We stayed five nights. A nice looking hotel meters... More

Our stay was at the Puri Rai was just in the period that the hotel was undergoing its last extension. The construction works were quite loudly and on Sunday they decided to make a new floor in using a cement-pump and several cement-trucks. The first room they offered to us was directly adjacent to the construction site. Nevertheless I have... More

Nice, big rooms with comfy beds and a huge bathroom. Very clean, and well taken care of. There was a TV here as well, which was nice after a week of not having one (I'm ashamed to admit). Our room had a nice covered porch with cushy, which we sat on to watch the storm in the evening. Lovely marble... More

The hotel is situated close to the pier for the ferry to Lombok in rather unattractive surroundings. The room we stayed in was fairly large but basic. On either side of the hotel are a number of good eating places. This is a hotel just for people who go on or are coming back from a ferry trip or who... More

We stayed at Puri Rai for three nights as an escape from the hustle and bustle of Jakarta. The rooms are very clean and spacious and the grounds are very nice, with three pools and a nice garden area. Our room had a nice balcony with a view of one of the pools and the beach was right across the... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights before heading off to Lombok - and it was OK but not brilliant. On the positive side, the room was spacious and clean and had a fridge and nice terrace - and there were three swimming pools. However despite the large number of staff, service was pretty limited - we had to carry... More

I always stay at Puri Rai when I go to Padangbai and this time was better than ever! The rooms have been done up and they are spacious and comfortable. The staff is really helpful and friendly. Ketut in reception and Komang the room boy really stick out with their excellent level of service, but they are all good. With... More

We've stayed here for two nights after reading reviews saying it was the best hotel in Padangbai. Well, if this was the best, I certainly don't want to see the rest of the hotels there... The room was ok, but the bathroom was completely filled with mould and the window was broken. The location of the room was terrible, we... More
