We stayed at this accommodation 2 years ago and it appears as though no maintenance has been done since. It is a budget hotel and I understand that you only get what you pay for BUT I paid an extra $8AUD at another hotel and the difference was just so vast. This trip I have stayed at 5 different hotels.... More

We have stayed at the Padma on three occasions and it never fails to disappoint. Compared to other hotels it appears pricey. But work on the adage 'what you pay for, is what you get'. The rooms are comfortable. But the staff, dining and facilities are exceptional. We have introduced numerous family members and friends to the Padma. They all... More

My second extended stay at this wonderful, friendly, weatherbeaten and timeworn little hotel set in mature gardens in the absolute heart of Legian. We have visited Bali many times and have stayed at Hotels which cost three to four times the rate of Balisani, but would choose to stay here over any of the others. Exceptional value, good breakfasts, quiet... More

First time that I have stayed at this hotel in the heart of legian. Late check in not a problem - mouldy pillows but just ask for better ones. Even though it is on the main road once inside it is very peaceful with traditional gardens. The superior room is a little worn and the lighting is subdued but it... More

In all my hotel experience in Bali, this was the worst I have seen. Arrived in the afternoon the rooms were not ready, but then this was before check in, so ok. I had asked for rooms on the ground floor as my husband does not do stairs well. We were shown 2 rooms next to each other with a... More

Great breakfast, great pool bar and pool area, good service staff. rooms terrible, old and dirty (shower curtain full of mould) bathroom very unpleasant, no english tv, reception staff horrible. I had a late check in, went to lay on my ben and rwalized the sheets were not clean and hadn't been changed from the last guest...they smelt like body... More

Just checked in last night into my favourite hotel in bali...This one. Simple yet quaint with lovely staff and excellent service. It might not be the ritz but when it comes to value for money nothing beats this place. I've stayed at others twice the price with half of the character or service. My only regret is that I'm only... Balisani was a very nice hotel to stay at. All the staff were lovely and the pool and pool bar was amazing. The rooms were very nice. The bathrooms were vey traditional. I loved them. But alot of people would rather them be upgraded. All in all it was a great way to experience bali. Located in a great spot... More

I would recommend this Hotel for a clean & comfortable Balinese older style with great pool bar as excellent value for money. We travelled with 4 teenagers, so close enough for nightlife in Kuta. Either 30 minute walk to Kuta or $2 taxi. Breakfast adequate & fantastic massage facility. Loved our superior room overlooking the pool, helpful staff, cannot fault.

Very nice hotel if you like a large resort like hotel, with big pool, swim up bar and loads of families around the pool. Unfortunately the beach in front of the hotel (and boardwalk area) are very dirty and littered so we only went out that way a few times. It was nice to come back to this hotel after... More
