We stayed here end of June in school holidays - first of all there are two parts to this hotel - the hotel rooms and the residences which are privately owned. I have stayed in both - the residences are larger and quite spacious with kitchenette and room for a fold out sofa bed. We stayed in 6307 this time... More

We just stayed at The Jayakarta for 7 days. The location is perfect - right on the beach and close to restaurants, massages, lots of shops and Circle K (like 7/11's). We walked everywhere but Kuta. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment for my cousins 30th and to be honest we didn't spend much time in the room because... More

We stayed here for six nights after staying on Gili T and in Seminyak. We did manage to get adjoining rooms with our teenage sons. The rooms and resort are pretty basic and tired. Bathrooms are a bit mouldy smelling too. The hotel itself is in a good location, on the beach and close to Legian shopping strip. The gardens... More

on arrival the entrance is very grand and colourful with staff there to lend a hand ad grab your bags for checkin, checking in was easy enough with a refreshing drink to make you welcome , your taken to your room and giving a good explanation of whats on offer the rooms are a tad tired but over all very... The Jayakarta is huge and located in Legian right on the beachfront. Absolutely. We were lucky enough to be placed in 3 different rooms as we were in Bali for 3 weeks and kept coming and going from the Resort. We were placed at the back of the Jayakarta on arrival which I was disappointed with because we were not... More

Location is the only good thing I can say. Full of loud drinking Aussies. Questionable the pool bar as you never see some people leave the bar for the toilet. Needs more staff. The pool area littered with corn, cigarettes, cans and bottles. Breakfast is horrific - stuff in bain Marie's with flys hanging around. The rooms are cold and... More

We arrived late but the welcome was warm. Our rooms 1 x twin & 1 x double were comfortable and all that we needed. A little disappointed that there was no safe in the room but the locked box at reception worked well. Breakfast had great variety & the pool area was great. A great place for a well priced... More

Close to beach & with a couple pools & plenty of room in the grounds for kids to run around. Fairly average accommodation - clean & comfortable & reasonable value for money. As I don't spend much time in room I was happy & I enjoyed my stay... Swim up pool bar too.

Perfect large property at splendid beachfront location which doesn't cost the earth.... if you are an anal fusspot do not come here as this is a hotel that attracts mainly fuss free non princessey, practical and non complaining guests.... The buffet breakfast is huge and legendary - the rooms are simple and clean
