Although the room was already paid for as part of a dive safari, we didn't make it the first night so they canceled our reservation. Fortunately they had a room available when we arrived for the second night. There was a distinct sewer odor in our room and at least one other guest room that we entered. The rooms themselves... We have been coming back here for many years to the friendly staff, quality rooms & overall value for money stay in a great beach front location. This is a smaller boutique size hotel with all the modern features. Any problems such as more mozzie spray etc is never a problem & fixed promptly. WIFI dropped out but was soon... More

We stayed here for a long weekend in a twin room. The beds were comfy, room clean and pool nice to sit around and cool off. Pretty quiet and set back a little so not too noisy given its on the main drag straight across from the beach. This would be fine for families and breakfast was included and very... More

Just returned from 8 nights at this resort and loved it :) From check in until departure, all staff where friendly and helpful. I have noticed that Legian is being taken over by larger hotel chains with modern accommodation. If I wanted this I would stay in the city! Alum KulKul has true Balinese charm. Well set out in lovely... More

We've just come back from our stay at the Alum Kulkul, and would go back in a heartbeat! we stayed 10 nights and they were so relaxing, the room;we had a villa room; was very spacious with plenty of storage space for your cases and personal items. Loved the outside shower and bath, although a small step might be useful... More

My school friend and I stayed at Alam Kul Kul for 8nights in march 2015, we both thought the resort was lovely, romantic and very quiet however it was way to romantic for us. Unfortunately I thought it lacked atmosphere. The main pool area has a bar but its not a swim up bar and the music was a tape... More

We recently stayed at the Alum Kul Kul in Legian. This was our 2nd stay there and it is a wonderful place to stay. You could walk right past the front of it and hardly notice its existence. Its small and quiet and the rooms are excellent. We upgraded to a Villa room but the standard rooms are very nice.... More

We stayed in the java villa and it has been an absolute pleasure. Our room was gorgeous, the private plunge pool was a huge treat and the grounds of the hotel are like a tropical oasis. The pools were quite warm but we expected that considering the weather in bali. The aircon in the room was so good that if... More

our room was great, clean, very basic, a little bit dark though. Breakfast was included, with visits from their resident squirrels coming for tidbits. Overall I really loved the quiet peaceful resort and the staff were very friendly. The pool was wonderful, just 5 steps from our room.
