Left there yesterday. Great place for couples or families. Two nice pools. Friendly caring staff. Spotlessly clean. Excellent location right on Kuta/Legion beach. Walking distance for many places, shopping, markets etc. Great beach walk either into Kuta or other direction to Seminyak and beyond. Lovely day spa for massages on site. Would go back again.

Stayed 12 times at this fabulous, small, traditionally designed hotel. Its being refurbed bit by bit as over time got a bit tired (trying to be balanced/ transparent in my comments). With a now contemporary bar side pool and seating-really brings it into today & blends superbly amongst the wood. If you want to stay in a new modern look/feel... More

I can highly recommend Alam KulKul. The property is amazing and the staff are the nicest I have ever come across. Location is excellent. Everything you need is within reach, the beach, shopping, restaurants. I never wanted to leave.

This has to be by far the loveliest resort we have ever stayed in. It was amazing, the staff were fantastic, the gardens were out of this world, everything we asked for was done with a smile and nothing was a problem. We were invited to free cocktail night where we enjoyed cocktails and finger food which was lovely and... More

stayed there in May 2014 with my friends, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. What you see on the pictures is what you get. the place is clean, full of characters, slightly away from the noise and yet within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. staffs were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

My sister and I stayed at this motel, we are in our 50's so we wanted a quiet place yet close to everything. I have stayed in Bali 10 times now and Alam KulKul is by the far the best I have stayed at. 2 beautiful pools, lovely walk ways to the rooms, our room was so nice to come... More

We stayed here for the last 4 nights of our stay in Bali, to get in some shopping after staying in quieter parts of Bali. We were pleasantly surprised at just how peaceful & quiet this resort is, even though it is virtually in the middle of the busy hub of Legian & Kuta. Great location just a short walk... More

Stayed here for 3 nights from the 15th Sept. We stayed in Villa 111 which was well positioned, with a large room and a fantastic bathroom. The huge king bed was extremely comfortable, 2 swimming pools are just steps away from the Villa and a good breakfast is available each morning with bloody good coffee. Right out the front of... My husband and I recently stayed for 6 nights. We upgraded to a Lanai room and thoroughly enjoyed it. A big room, marble bath, right next to the pool. All the staff were extremely pleasant, always smiling and saying hello. We were invited by management to a cocktail party (which unfortunately we couldn't attend), the staff arranged a birthday cake... More

A lovely relaxing resort to return to after a day of shopping, haggling and sightseeing. Staff were courteous, helpful and respectful. If you want to experience of the real Balinese lifestyle without the glitz and glamour of the larger resorts This is a resort for you !
