Stayed 5 days after recommendation from friend who stays regularly. Staff were all very helpful, from reception to room cleaners and everyone in-between. The room was large but a bit run down and after other people's comments on this site about mosquitos I sprayed the room and had no problems at all. The main pool was being renovated during our... We have stayed 3 times, with both friends and family at the very Balinese style hotel which we just love. The staff are wonderful and always helpful Nothing is ever too much trouble, the breakfast is great and changes are made to the menu every morning. Rooms are traditional and always clean. The resort is quietly tucked away from the... More

My 2 friends and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights before we headed back home. Turns out my parents had stayed here a few years earlier too (which I didn't learn until I was home)!! The location is great- less than a 10 min walk to the shopping centre, right opposite the beach, a good walk (or close... More

We stayed for one night in a family room - excellent value, exceptional service & decent food. The room would get a bit cramped for a long stay, but fine for a week or less. The beach across the road is awesome. I'd stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at Alam kul kul :) we stayed in a bungalow which was very nice and spacious however there was a little problem with mozzies in the room coming from the outdoor shower/toilet area. Overall however a great central location and a very comfortable hotel which offered lovely traditional Balinese accommodation with all the modern conveniences.

Stayed 2 times during silence day in Bali...rate of the package has increased on the 2nd year which is fine but they take out the benefit of lunch which we had on previous year Perfect location to the beach but room is getting old and really need some improvement. The room smell of old wood. Found out that other hotel... More

I recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at the Alam KulKul hotel with 2 friends. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and always stopping to say hello and ask how you are. The hotel was spotlessly clean including the pool area. The large pool was shut for renovations but the smaller of the two was open. Despite this there were always... More

To be honest, it was not love at the first sight. We arrived late in the evening, exhausted with two kids under 5, and desperately need a rest. We booked a family room on the 2nd floor and the hotel did not have an elevator. There quite a number mosquitos in our room and a two lights that were disconnected.... More

This is a small Hotel compared with what is surrounding it. What it lacks in size it makes up for in lots of other ways. It is a Balinese Style hotel with great staff who cannot be more helpful. It is in a good location across from the beach. Short walk to the Markets / Restaurants / Bars . Rooms... More
