We chose a Lanai room overlooking the pool ,pleasant outdoor area . Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom very good size with all amenities, Friendly efficient staff. enjoyable breakfast with entertainment from the resident squirrels who liked to be fed tidbits, enjoyable interlude while having breakfast. Dining room was upstairs ,with a lovely view out onto Jalan Pantai. Quiet friendly... More

It was a 5 year break before I had the pleasure in returning, I was worried that the big new hotel (Pullman) was going to ruin the ambience of Alam and blocking the sun from the pool. But thankfully not at all. The place had not changed that much, The pool area was upgraded with nice good umbrellas. There are... More

We had booked the Java villa for 7 nights. First impressions were I don't think we should stay here our room was completely infested with mosquitoes. The room was lovely though but the bathroom needs a major over haul the fish pond in the bathroom is the main source of the mozzies and it is very hard to get in... More

I have stayed here twice and have thoroughly enjoyed both experiences. We love the close proximity to markets and restaurants, rooms are clean and tidy and we had no problems with mosquitoes. Pools are clean and all the staff are quite friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great only let down is the juice gets hot after the first hour, nothing... More

After months of researching we thought we were on to a winner here. The hotel has the potential to be a great place to stay the staff are lovely excluding the pool bar guys, At $5 for a small bintang it is so expensive. The pool was the deal breaker for us, the decking around the pool was almost as hot... More

Dear Suzieivory, We do apologise that you found our pools warm and understand that a big part of your holiday enjoyment is spending time by the pool with your friends. This is the first time we have this complaint and will certainly look into it to see how we may address it for the future. The pools are in full... More

Choose a villa as the rooms are dank and dingy although there are renovations occurring. The pools are okay although no shade and a little on the small side. Breakfast was great and the staff wonderful. Good food and great Spa.

We have just arrived back from our 14th trip to Bali and had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Hotel. While we were doing our research we could not understand the mixed reviews that this hotel received from various travelers. After much deliberation we decided to give it a go and we are so glad we did. We did... More

We stayed 11 nights in March 2015 in a family room. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the beds so comfortable, and the staff helpful and accommodating. The location is perfect - opposite the beach, between Kuta and Legian, and close to Garlic Lane, the traditional markets and the more upmarket Beach Walk Shopping Centre. The road at the front is busy... More

It was a fantastic stay. Quiet privacy. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very fast check in and check out. What really impressed me was when how the front desk responded when they mistakenly wrote my name with other guests. They personally wrote a note to apologize. Its just special. The room was large enough for family trip. I love this... More

Stayed here for a week with a friend and would definitely stay again. Stayed in an Alam Villa which was quite spacious, had a little courtyard for a quiet drink and a really good shower. The pool area is very relaxing and all staff only too happy to help. Gardens are just stunning and the Alam Club amenities are a... More
