The suriwathi beach Hotel is on Jl Sahadewa (old Garlice lane) in Legian, I've been stopping there for quite a few years now. As i'm in Bali 4 to 5 times a year i find the staff and management both freindly and reliable. They go out of their way to help. I have a balanese family i've known for 20... More

We had booked 3 rooms and 1 air con didn't work so were begrudgingly moved to another room. This one was dirty. Dirtly linen, something squashed on the bed spread. Other rooms were then inspected and found that the linen in other 2 rooms were also dirty. Fridges filthy and bathrooms very inadequate. There was a 4 metre splatter mark... More

We checked in and out on the same day. Not impressed with no hooks in bathroom to hang the towel, towels were frayed badly, and no hand towel or bathmat. Considering he shower is in the middle of the bathroom floor, with a bath on one side and toilet on the other, you would need a bath mat. Sheets were... More

Tucked away on Garlic Lane Legian, Surawathi is a quiet hideaway to slip back to after a day out in the hustle and bustle of Kuta. A 5 minute walk to the beach, abundance of restaurants and bars at your doorstep or stay and chill, eat in, Bintangs at the bar and fall into the pool, there's 2 to choose... More

Myself and husband stayed here Feb 2015 for 10 days - staff were lovely and very friendly and helpful, the rooms are cleaned daily - the towels and sheets are faded and worn but clean. The room was very large with a small television - no tea or coffee making facilities and limited places to hang your towel in the... More

The Hotel is close from airport and Legian Beach a just 5 minute walking, breakfast is continental not buffet. The service is good but when I pay by Credit Cards has trouble, so cash payment is easy. The hotel has two swimming pool.

Just returned from Bali, and again stayed at the Suriwathi. New rooms are now finished, the best value in Bali. While I was there I got a tooth ache really bad, one of the owners wife Marda got the hotel driver to take me to a clinic to see a dentist, who gave me an injection and tablets , and arranged... We always stay at the Suriwathi as it's the heart of Legian shopping and restaurants. Great value as we don't want to waste money on fancy rooms etc. The rooms are clean, beds changed every day, nothing too much trouble for the lovely friendly staff. Been going there over 9 years and love the place home away from home. Various... More

The suriwhati as usual was a great place to stay. I did have the pleasure of a new room. It was beautiful and I will never stay any where else. The room was very clean and the service was great. If you are looking for value for money then this is the place to go.

A basic hotel that is clean, neat and close to a myriad of restaurants, shopping, the beach and entertainment. Hotel staff are friendly and accommodating. There are two pools to choose from which are well maintained and crystal clear. Pool towels are available from reception. King single beds in the twin room made for a comfortable night's sleep. My friend... More
