Right on Legian Beach this property is good value for money. On the beach front it is an easy stroll to some great restaurants. The accommodation was very good. We had a bungalow which was huge. The room service was good and the breakfast well catered for. Would definitely recommend and would return.

We stayed here over the 2014/15 new year period for 8 days. It's hard for me to write a review as we have never been to Bali before, so don't have anything to compare it to apart from NZ and Aus hotels, but anyway... We stayed in one of the superior rooms on the top floor over looking the lazy... More

I have travelled to Bali a number of times and would have the say that Melasti Legian Resort 3 times now, it is the best place to stay for value for money. The location and the size for the resort are next to non, The Hotel is currently under renovations but still didn't affect my stay. The resort has three... More

We have recently spent 10 days at the Melasti. We were traveling with our 10 year old son and were looking for a reasonably cheap get away prior to Christmas. We found the Melasti "ticked all of the boxes" that we were looking for. This was our 4th trip to Bali and have stayed at different places and different ratings... More

We were so looking forward to our year long planned trip to Bali and meeting my sister and family at the Melasti Resort only to have it ruined by poor standards and misleading pictures. The initial picture shown of the resort is not a true replicate of how it now looks. The buildings are in dire need of cleaning and... More

This was our 3rd visit to the Melasti and to be quite honest it will be our last, when we arrived at the reception they asked that we paid our bill for both rooms up front, THAT had never happened before.........we soon understood why, their standards have dropped dramatically, their Deluxe rooms are in bad need of a make over,... We stayed in a different hotel nearby, when walking on the beach walk pathway to the beach walk mall with my wife and four year old daughter we saw the hotel had a outdoor playground next to one of their restaurant. On our way back to our hotel we decided to go for dining at the restaurant in the hotel... More

We stayed here after five nights in the lovely griya santrian in Sanur. I know they are completely different hotels but oh gosh it wasn't that much more expensive but it was a completely different world. When we arrived we were handed a key with a broken sharp edged tag. That was the first clue! No fruit basket. No welcome... More

4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2014 via mobile

Stayed in December 2014 with my daughter. Had cottage suite 105 and from the verandah seats could hear and see the ocean. Cottage suite rooms had plenty of room with comfy beds, a comfy chair would be a bonus in the rooms but the beds were great. The restaurant and room service meals we had were fantastic. It's location is... More
