Please don't sat here unless you are the type of Aussie that sits in the pool bar drinking Bintangs and smoking all day. I'm Australian but this hotel caters for the Aussie Bogan. There's 2 pools which is great if you have kids, but not great because of the smoking around the pool. We booked one of the cheapest rooms... More

I'm 15 and I have stayed at Melasti with my family four times. Last time we stayed there (June 2014), my brother and I stayed in a standard room upstairs close to the street, which we loved, even though we were a bit of a distance from our parents. We felt safe and happy, the room boys were very pleasant,... More

The hotel is very run down. Mould through rooms and outside. We were moved from one room which had a broken aircon to a room with a broken toilet full of mozzies and mould everywhere. Balcony is full of cracks which is a worry. Have stayed here before but age is starting to show. Service was fantastic and all friendly.... More

We rocked up at 2am after 15 hours travelling and didn't much mind where we slept. (our week's booking elsewhere started the next day) We got a room for $60 inc Brekkie and were escorted down a dodgy looking alley way to our room. We definitely could have negotiated this price, but were not too bothered at that stage. Nice... More

We just came home from 2 weeks staying at the Melasti and had a fantastic time. We stayed in the cottage suites near the restaurant and they were roomy, comfortable and meticulously cleaned every day. The towels may not have been pure white but they were very clean. Our other friends stayed in the superior rooms up the older part... More

We have just had our first family holiday to Bali with the kids. We stayed in room 121 from the 14th to 28th June 2014. We will definitely stay again. The pools are fantastic and clean and the staff friendly and pleasant. I loved the location as I was able to go for a surf every morning whilst the family... More

I am a Melbourne travel agent who has been selling the Melasti Beach resort and Spa for many years. I am frustrated when I read some of the Negative reports about this resort as I have had hundreds of clients stay here over many years (some are there at present) . I do not believe there is a better for... More

This was our third visit to this hotel and boy the standard has dropped, The rooms are although clean are dated and fittings broken, fridges fail to work, toilet seats broken. Noise just reverberates around the room from all other rooms in the block. Worst rooms are pool view rooms due to noise. No one cares about the pool hours... More
