Just back from a week staying at this Hotel and we had the best time! after reading the reviews we were nervous about what it was going to be like! We stayed in a Superior ground floor Room right at the large swimming pool. The room was spotless, air conditioner was excellent, yes the bathroom is dated but perfectly clean... More

Stayed in adjoining cottage suites as we have 4 kids. Hotel was clean, rooms good size. Very kid friendly & fairly laid back. Central 2 everything. Probably could do more with the space available in the restaurant overlooking the beach. Would go back kids loved it.

Great hotel. Centrally located in Legain. There are two warm pools. The pools are quite large with swim up bars. The only downfall is the WIFI. It is only available in public areas and is very slow. The staff were very friendly and were able to book tours at competitive prices.

We have just returned from staying at the Melasti for 8 days. We were booked in to a standard room and after just one night we upgraded to a Superior room with a balcony overlooking the pool for $20 a night extra. It was well worth it! The Superior rooms are lovely. Our Standard room was dinghy, the toilet would... More

We had just had two weeks in Ubud but thought we should stay a couple of nights at Legian before we went home... But this was a colossal mistake. We paid for a room close to the beach and the room was large and probably could have been lovely but it was horrible. Dark. Dingy and smelled like the inside... More

A great place close to local shopping and numerous bars and restaurants. Hotel is a little tired but is receiving a facelift here and there. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the deluxe rooms are huge and some have a balcony overlooking the gorgeous pool. The standard rooms are comfortable and also close to the pool. Villas are available which... More

Things are looking a bit different at Melasti. we have stayed at this family friendly hotel about 6 times over the years. It was always a reliable and good value for money hotel. We visited friends staying there on our recent trip. Things have not changed in this aspect, still the same friendly place, big grounds, great pool and as... More

Firstly- the hotel is needing major renovations- not the decor kind but more in regards to safety. Raw wires and crappy furniture is expected at a Bali 3 star hotel however from the photographs I assume this place was different. The photographs are very old and give an illusion of a comfortable place to stay. We stayed for 15 nights... More

I actually stayed here in Oct of 2013 but the staff were nice and accommodating. I got sick while there (cold/fever), they were very helpful and made sure I had an extra blanket and tissues. The only problem we had was on arrival and that was out fridge wasn't working, and they fixed it right away. It has 3 pools... More
