We have loved staying at the Melasti twice a year for the past 13 years, but on our recent trip we were very disapointed with the old, uncomfortable bed which has not changed in all those years. We top and tailed the mattress but it didn't help. I spoke to the lovely staff at the front desk and put my... More

loved staying here right on the beach great pools and restaurants hotel prices were really good. just rooms tired, tv was analog while tv channels all local shows so hard to chill out and watch tv after a big day. our mattress and pillows need update as it gave us all sore backs, if these small problems could be updated... We recently returned to Bali after a few years break and decided to stay at the Melasti hotel in Legian. The price was fairly competitive and the photos of the pool and grounds looked impressive. Unfortunately the rooms were quite ordinary even for Bali standards. We booked a Superior double room and although the bed was large and comfortable the... More

Good value for money if you are on a tight budget and have a young family. The rooms are basic, very tired, not especially clean and the towels looked more like grey rags (literally threads hanging off them). I don't know who does their laundry, but I wouldn't go there. The beds are hard and it's like sleeping on a... More

This is a great place to stay in a good location right next to the beach. Easy walking to many restaurants and shops. We have always stayed in the townhouse suites rather than the multi-story rooms. The suites we stay in are fantastically large and have a small room at enrty ideal for kids. They are located in blocks of... More

We have visited this hotel numerous times in the last fifteen plus years and whilst it's a bit older, it's a good budget choice right by the sea and walking distance from shops and nightlife. Pool areas are exceptional and staff friendly.

Hotel is right on beach. Staff very friendly and rooms cleaned every day with a smile. Large rooms but have found lighting dim due to energy saving lights. Rooms have oriental feel about them with dragons and Chinese embroidered head board. Water pressure not great but warm water every day. Plenty of drinking water left in rooms and pool open... More

We visited with our family of four. Was a little hesitant after reading reviews however I was pleasantly surprised. We were in room 104 down stairs between pool and beachfront restaurant. Room was large and perfect with two children. The two rooms in the suite could be divided with a sliding door if needed. Large pool was very deep but... More
