We stayed 2 nights at the Grand Balinese .... wish we had stayed longer. It really is a gorgeous traditional Balinese hotel. Beautiful stone buildings with lovely designs. The bathroom was truly lovely... although a bit smelly. The breakfast was ok. They do amazing iced Coffee's and spring rolls are delicious. Staff are very friendly and warm. Will stay there... More

Stayed at Grand Balisani Suites for 2 weeks in August 2014. Loved the place. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well equipped, excellent air conditioning, king sized bed was comfortable. Found the little extras at this hotel charming. Frangipani blossoms on the pillows every day, beautiful fish in the lovely ponds who respond very positively to being... More

I booked this hotel as it was close to the airport and South Bali while being away from the noise, and right next to the beach. It is recommended by lonely planet and not too pricey. But I didn't realise it would be so lovely in a traditional Balinese way. Beautiful gardens weave around stone and ceramic buildings, and you... More

We stayed at Grand Balisani hotel for 6 nights earlier this month... and loved it. The hotel has a certain charm and elegance that one only notices and appreciates after a few days. The buildings have a very rustic appearance - very much like Angkor Watt - but this is what gives the place its uniqueness. If you want ultra... More

We loved our stay at the Grand Balisani Suites for my 50th birthday celebrated with many friends from the USA and Australia. They all absolutley adored the hotel. The breakfast is terrific and offers all you can think of from the gorgeous Indonesian porridge and other indonesian/balinese delights to the beautiful breads, mueseli, yoghurts, cooked fared (bacon eggs omelettes) to... The location of this hotel is great in that it is right on the beach . We stayed in a garden suite which was very big and comfortable . HOWEVER the marble bathroom floor is very slippery. On our first night my husband slipped on the bathroom floor and broke his wrist . The hotel got a dr at about... More

Balisani has some great potential and once upon a time must have been a great resort. If you are thinking about Balisani there are a couple of things you need to consider. Wifi: there is officially no wifi in the rooms: it is only supported in the Lobby and the restaurant. In reality it means that you also have some... More

I stayed here with my daughter and a friend for 6 nights in August 2014. The room was a little small by Balinese standards but the hotel more than made up for it by the beauty of the manicured gardens, the pool, the seaside location and the quietness of being just outside of the hustle and bustle of Seminyak but... I was there from the 13 - 17 Aug 2014. On arrival I was downgraded to a twin bed suite after paying upfront a week earlier for a Dulux Suite.I was not offered any complimentary service in compensation for the downgrade and when I asked, i was told that it needed a higher level of approval. I requested to speak... More
