Lumbung Damuh is a lovely small place to stay. We had the Superior Lumbung which faces the beach and the view and breeze was excellent. Cost 400,000rp per night including breakfast (internet rate). This is the largest lumbung. Made who works here is a lovely man who goes out of his way to help. He organized our washing, (35,000rp), transport... more

We stayed in this hotel at the end of September - although I shouldn't call it a hotel, it felt more like staying with someone's family. Although we didn't really see the owners much, their manager, Made, was absolutely amazing, getting up at 1am to make us breakfast and see us off to climb Gunung Batur, finding relatives who could... more

We stayed for 5 nights and simply fell in love with the place. It is in a lovely quiet area in Bali away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas. Would be perfect romantic get away, shame I was there with a mate from uni and not the girlfriend. Would love to go back sometime! more

This establishment offers you a very special accommodation in a traditional lumbung bungalow in a fantastic jungle-like garden. It is located next to the beach and there are some restaurants in walking distance. We enjoyed it very much, but had the impression that is a bit overpriced. Especially, because there was no thank you or good-bye when we left... more

Absolutely beautiful spot. Local village lovely, friendly people and very very helpful staff. Loved the lumbung and the unspoiled locale but really you pay for the experience. THis type of accommodation should be at most Rp 80 per night ( standard rooms) not the 275Rp that they ask for. This is the bali experience of the 1980's and its great.... more

I stayed here in 2005, and I very much enjoyed it. My friend and I relaxed and we enjoyed the kind hospitality. It is really a paradise away from the bustling crowds. The best service of any Hostel I have ever stayed in. It is far from the airport, so a cab is not so easy- it is in an... more

We spent 3 nights here in May. It's about an hour and a half from the airport and away from all the tourists. If you have a few nights to spare, you should definitely check this place out. It's not a luxury resort, but it's worth it. We stayed in the standard which is a queen size bed in a... more

We spent 4 nights here, 3 in the superior lumbung and it was fabulous! 2 seconds from the beach and falling asleep to the crashing waves of the ocean. Bliss! The lumbung had lots of room: bed upstairs with a balcony overlooking the ocean and downstairs with the table, relaxation area and bathroom. Breakfast served when you woke up with... more
