We just had our surreal wedding ceremony and banquet at a private villa in Candidasa. Mr. Haryo and his team from Tirta Ayu Hotel & Restaurant provided us first class catering and wedding planning services on our big day, and has given the two of us wonderful memories with our families and friends :) My husband and I live in... Other reviewers have said it all and we’ll just add our endorsement to their positive comments – this is a very special hotel in a very special place, and worth every penny. We only wish we had booked two nights here instead of just one to enjoy it more. Our Villa (#3) near the pool was very private and comfortable... More

We did not stay at the Tirta Ayu, but in the Water Palace Bungalow next to it. Bit we went for dinne to Tirta Ayu and we loved it. You will get really good food and a unique view to the water palace garden. Try Balinesian Wine! We had a White Wine from Hatten (the leading vineyard in northern Bali),... More

We stayed at the water palace hotel following an excursion of the water palace and royal palace. The hotel staff were very friendly and the accommodation was nice and comfortable. The outdoor sunken bath was a nice experience. We also utilised the pool while here. We ate the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and both meals were very enjoyable with... More

What could be more impressive than dining in a restaurant overlooking the Raja of Karangasem's immaculate water palace at Tirtagangga. By balinese standards it is not cheap but the menu is varied with dishes from other Indonesian island. I enjoyed a vegetable curry type dish which was supposed to have cassava leaves but they were out so they substituted with... More

quite frankly this is the best room ive ever stayed in. The room was amazing and the water palace is very beautiful. A swim in the water is well worth it, although people will stop and watch you swim so be prepared for an audience! The hotel restaurant was the most expensive during our stay in Bali and by Bali... This small but well maintained hotel is located right in the middle of the Tirtagangga waterpalace. We stayed here for just one night which is not enough if you want to experience the unique tranquility of Tirta Ayu. The rooms are all free standing and surrounded by a nice small tropical garden. The restaurant looks out over the water palace... More

My partner and I enjoyed a holiday in Bali from 1-16th August 2014. We stayed in Nusa Dua. We came to visit the Tirta Gangga by recommendation on 7th August. Whilst there we stopped by Tirta Ayu and had lunch. The food was first class (can highly recommend the chicken satay and for desert the Dadar - coconut pancakes -... More

The location of this small hotel is nothing but spectacular. The setting is just mesmerizing with all the fountains of the beautiful waterpalace Tirtagangga. The staff is incredibly friendly and they all knew us by name. They have just 5 or 6 bungalows so you really feel special. A nice pool within a lush tropical garden. Our room was beautiful,... More

Every time I come to East Bali a visit to the Tirta Gangga Water Palace, followed by lunch at the Tirta Ayu Restaurant overlooking the water palace is a must. The atmosphere is incredible, the view lovely and the food delish! Definitely recommend this relaxing end to a visit to the beautiful water palace!!
