I've stayed here several times, and in the area many times since 1984. It is one of the few completely unspoiled parts of Bali. (The last time I stayed it was for about 7 days and I met 8 other foreign tourists.) The Tirtagangga area is spectacularly beautiful and surprisingly centrally located for exploring the central parts of the island.... More

This resort is very quiet and comfortable for relaxing, the scene is excellent with royal garden view direct from the restaurant. The atmosphere is suitable for relaxing with good ambient temperature. The price is reasonable, the beverage is good, especially for the mint juice leaf. This place is also interesting to have gathering lunch or dinner,. Must try to spend... More

I don't even know what to say about this place. No words will do it the proper justice. This place is absolutely breathtaking. Simply wonderful. My wife and I were married here last month. When we decided that we wanted to get married on Bali, we looked at many venues before settling on Tirtagannga. Now, I would be lying if... More

We stayed one night at this hotel, we had two rooms. The Raja room and one of the standard rooms. The Raja room was unbelievable, so comfortable and we felt like we in a fairytale. The standard room was great too. The swimming pool is not huge but it is very nice and if you want a big pool you... More

I read some reviews saying that prices here high, but I though they were completely reasonable. The food was terrific, the view was beautiful, the staff very professional and attentive, and you get to use their very clean WC as part of the deal, which is kind of important to me. Tirta Gangga is definitely worth the stop, and after... More

We just had our surreal wedding ceremony and banquet at a private villa in Candidasa. Mr. Haryo and his team from Tirta Ayu Hotel & Restaurant provided us first class catering and wedding planning services on our big day, and has given the two of us wonderful memories with our families and friends :) My husband and I live in... Other reviewers have said it all and we’ll just add our endorsement to their positive comments – this is a very special hotel in a very special place, and worth every penny. We only wish we had booked two nights here instead of just one to enjoy it more. Our Villa (#3) near the pool was very private and comfortable... More

We did not stay at the Tirta Ayu, but in the Water Palace Bungalow next to it. Bit we went for dinne to Tirta Ayu and we loved it. You will get really good food and a unique view to the water palace garden. Try Balinesian Wine! We had a White Wine from Hatten (the leading vineyard in northern Bali),... More

We stayed at the water palace hotel following an excursion of the water palace and royal palace. The hotel staff were very friendly and the accommodation was nice and comfortable. The outdoor sunken bath was a nice experience. We also utilised the pool while here. We ate the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and both meals were very enjoyable with... More

What could be more impressive than dining in a restaurant overlooking the Raja of Karangasem's immaculate water palace at Tirtagangga. By balinese standards it is not cheap but the menu is varied with dishes from other Indonesian island. I enjoyed a vegetable curry type dish which was supposed to have cassava leaves but they were out so they substituted with... More
