Located far away from the lake area, 10 km. Choose this hotel only if you have a car or a motorbike. Old ugly restaurant - needs a lot of restauration. No pool, no aircon, only a fan. Breakfast o.k. If on vacation, choose another hotel closer to the center.

We booked Pachung Indah because we read that it was 2.5km from the temple at Lake Bratan. When we got there (by shuttle from Ubud) we found out that it is 10km from the temple. We decided that it was no big deal and we'd rent a motorbike but there is no place to rent a motorbike within walking distance... More

Okay, this location is a bit out of the way so you are not going to find a five star restaurant. Most likely you are headed for Jatiluwih and/or Pura Luhur Batukaru and stop for a spot of lunch. We did not stay, only ate here. The restaurant certainly has nice views (not spectacular, but good). The food is very... More

Stayed here for a night at the Suite. It has a quaint view of rice fields and the surrounding gardens. Did not try the restaurant so can't comment on the food. Room is big, albeit slightly musty smelling and a small puddle of water near the WC. Lucky there is Australian Network so I could watch some tv.. There isn't... More

Our driver had recommended Pacung Indah Restaurant for lunch on the way to Bedugul. The restaurant overlooked the rice terrace. It serves both buffet and ala-carte. The buffet costs 80,000 rupiahs per person. We had buffet as there were a wide selection of food including those for vegetarian. We had fried noodles, fried rice and spring roll. My son simply... This place is good if we want to stay close to nature. There is green valley in front of the rooms. At this height (from sea level), an AC would not required. A heater inside the room would not necessary either. Hot water supply in bathroom very consistent. Value for money is good. Surprise to see wide selection of "tea... More

We hired a taxi driver for the day for 500,000RP and he took us here for lunch. Very average food with no prices - it was a buffet. Expensive beer - we can only assume that the driver received a kickback for taking us here. Avoid unless starving. The one redeeming feature though - stunning view.

Me and my wife decided to had a lunch in this restaurant. We didn't notice that this is a buffet restaurant and we also didn't get informed about the price. Somehow, it had a low quality food, small choices of food, awful taste and very expensive. Avoid it if you can. Find some place nearby or bring snacks (meals) during... More

We decided to drop by for lunch on our way to Ubud from the North. We opted to go ala carte instead of the buffet lunch which we saw most of the diners opted for. Worthy of a mention is the Nasi Goreng (fried rice) set and the Ayam bekakak (crispy fried chicken). The chicken was their specialty, as we... More
