I had a really nice time at this resort. The room was fine. I shared with a mate, there were 2 beds and it was a good size room with large indoor/outdoor ensuite. The food was terrific. It was a fair walk from top of resort where the room was to the bottom pool and restaurant but the walk down... More

This was a gorgeous resort with spacious rooms in a beautiful setting setting with lots of little pools around the property. Free water refills were located in various stations around the property. Dinner was tasty and the service good. Although I gave this 5 stars I had 2 negative observations. One, the lighting in the rooms is for atmosphere but... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and used it as a halfway point between our resorts on the west coast and north coast. We stayed in a Patio Room which was functional and clean if a little Spartan. The bed was big and comfortable and the room was quiet. The facilities were excellent, the Hot Springs were exceptional. The food... More

Great location, great facilities and most likely just living off of its reputation from long ago. Whilst, I tend to be a little more critical and analytical due to my career within the hospitality industry, the hotel management's lack of standards is appalling. 1.The room given to us, backed up against very noisy staff member room taking their respective breaks;... We stayed two nights at Mimpi Resort in late April. The resort is set in beautiful tropical gardens, with hot spring pools, as well as two gorgeous normal pools, one of which overlooks the lagoon. The rooms are well equipped, very clean and well serviced. The dining area, although quite a walk away, also looks over the lagoon and wharf... More

This second visit to the Mimpi Resort confirmed why we returned. It's set in extensive tropical grounds with a number of hot spring and swimming pools - it's a real treat to be there. The restaurant has a lovely setting looking over the water, and the food and service is excellent. The Dive Shop was great with good equipment and... More

You probably take it as given, understandably so, that the Mimpi Resort affords excellent professional facilities for snorkeling & diving off Menjangan island. And you're right. But Mimpi offers so much more to the intelligent traveller . If the patio rooms are comfortable & reasonably priced, with access to hot mineral baths In 2 areas, the villas are the real gems: each one... More

Me and my wife came here to celebrate her birthday and we treated ourself to a villa with one private thermal pool as well as one standard pool. This was a great choice for us and we enjoyed the calm privacy. There is also a diving center on premise and we joined a snorkeling tour to Menjangang island. The instructors... More

Excellent location with even during the monsoon not to much rain. Rooms are nice, with verandah and outdoor shower. Meals are served right on the waterfront overlooking the lagoon and the mountains of Java. Diving is great, as well at Menjangan Island as in the Mimpi channel, with lots to see like shark, tuna, turtles and many smaller creatures.

I stayed at Mimpi Menjangan for 2 days. Our friend recommended this place while we're looking for a hotel near Gilimanuk Harbour in West Bali. The Hotel is about 45 minutes drive from the harbour. If you take a trip from Java Island to Bali by car or other vehicle, and wants to take a rest after crossing Bali Straits... More
