We arrived at this resort with a short notice booking after deciding that we could not stay at Waka Shorea as planned, due to it's dirty and squalid state. We were met by very friendly staff and shown to our room .. a Lumbung suite which was very nice, but there was a problem with the air-conditioning. We were then... More

We had travelled almost all around the island when we stopped here. We were very warmly greeted and shown to the room we had booked. We asked to upgrade (for extra $$) and were quickly accommodated. The rooms are beautiful and the bathroom was the size of some condos back home and included a hotspring fed very large tub. As... More

this hotel was fantastic. The room was stunning. the swimming pool was amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful. They even opened the kitchen to make us food when we arrived late at night. the only draw back is the drive from denpasar. It was fun, but allow plenty of time. diving was beautiful and very civilised with the boat... More

We spent six nights in a Lumbung suite at Novus Gawana in December. After some time diving at Wakatobi, we wanted to visit the north and west coast of Bali and this seemed well placed. It was ideal for us and we had a great time. The grounds are lovely and spacious and exceedingly well maintained. Nearly all of the... More

The setting is amazing and the staff very friendly and professional But overhall the hotel is overpriced and attention to details are not up to the standard of a 200usd per night in Bali: the breakfeast is quite poor and the area around the pool under refurbishment

I was staying in one of Lumbung villa's. It was very comfortable and well designed. The food at restaurant is great. Staff are very attentive and provide very good and friendly service. It's perfect place for dive and snorkel lovers as the professional dive shop in the resort provides daily trips to Menjangan island and other spots. I enjoyed the... More

Our first impression on the way to the Novus Gavana was rather negative considering the really bad entering road to the resort (bumpy). But once arrived, all our concerns were blown away. We were welcomed by very friendly reception staff and offered a refreshing welcome drink. We stayed in a Mangrove Suite, which has a huge living area in Balinese... More

The hotel is composed of a series of nice wooden bungalows scattered in a garden at the border of a mangrove forest which give on a cove at the north west part of Bali. The bay is used as a”old” fishing port and is now the starting point for diving/snorkeling excursions around Menjangan island .(This part of Bali is much... More
