Lovely people always trying to please with comfortable clean rooms at a reasonable price. What more do you need in paradise? I will stay here again next time I visit (and there will be a next time) that is definite.

our family stayed at Uyah and completed the Padi dive course. We loved it. Lena was an awesome dive instructor very patient and professional. We saw beautiful tropical fish of all colours, a rare ghostpipe fish,a honeycombed moray eel, giant sea turtle and a baby one, lovely corals etc. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet, like the Bali of... This is our second visit to this lovely hotel. Its not a luxury hotel, but the facilities and rooms are more than adequate and the staff are helpful and friendly. Diving is excellent. The dive at the front of the hotel is full of surprises. There is something special about this place. Great value and we will be back.

The bungalows with ocean view are a must. Decorated with taste and very quiet. To back of the hotel is open to the beach so you can be solicited by bands of kids to by them pens for school... The view is gorgeous as you can see a distant volcano. The pool is very nice. Unfortunately the staff is very... More

When I travelled to Bali I was promised to find paradise but it was only after several nights in Sanur, Ubud, Bedegul and Lovina before I reached my personal paradise in Amed, in hotel Uyah. The rooms a authentic, quiet, cool and generously nice with a clever and clean bathroom. Each bungalow has its own porch, on which you experience... More

I booked through online and found out that the hotel located before the cliff. It is awesome that you have a direct access to the beach. Room is spacious and has a view to the ocean. Hot water run quite slow we had to wait for almost15 minutes to get it spray to the shower. Overall experience, me and my... More

Delightfully quaint bungalow near the beach and set in well maintained gardens with two pools. The A/C was fine, the mosquito nets useful and the bathroom perfectly acceptable. The staff were charming and helpful. The restaurant which Lonely Planet describes as "over the road" has now been brought in-house. The dinner menu is varied and the quality of food and... More

This is our second visit to this hotel, and whilst the facilities are not the utmost in luxury, the rooms are very clean, spacious and more than adequate, and the staff very helpful and friendly. The beaches along this coast are not pristine, but the snorkeling and diving near by are excellent. We did our diving through the Amed Dive... More

The bungalow was very big and had a lovely sea view. It was impeccably clean and the shower had hot water. As it was low season the place seemed very empty and I would recommend visiting Amed in high season. The area around the hotel is not so nice although you would not notice that from within the hotel itself.... More
