After many trips staying here and bringing friends with us, we are still impressed! The staff are friendly, polite and helpful and we love the fact that there is no phone reception!! Good to get away from the phone and can stay in touch through the wifi....if needed! We love the relaxing atmosphere and the snorkelling around the shipwreck. The... More

I had high hopes for Life in Amed based on reviews but was quite disappointed in several areas. I travel with my sister and we are flexible and hardly fussy but there are some basic amenities this type of accomodation should supply. One is a bar fridge, which us listed in amenities but not in room. We asked for ice... More

Hello, I saddened to hear you found our hotel disappointing, though I did here you laughing all the time while entertaining your friends that were visiting you during your stay with us. In our cottages, we do not have fridges available, there are room descriptions on our website, we do have fridges in our Beachfront villas and the Perfumed Garden... More

Life in Amed is a beautiful hotel where the owner put great thought into the details of the rooms and the property. The food was very good and we ate here for almost every meal. The spring rolls were addicting. The people who work at the hotel are beautiful and willing to help you with whatever your needs are. They set... More

On arrival I didn't get the best vibe from staff but it did improve. The villa we were in, Paradiso villa, is located right at the front of the property almost on the beach. First impressions were that it was a bit dark and musty but after a while we saw the benefits as we had our own room upstairs... More

Thank you for your review... glad you enjoyed our restaurant and the children had special experiences with the local children that play in the ocean daily. Amed was always the place to come to be off the beaten path, recently it has become a must do visit for everyone visiting Bali, so it is a unique place with one coastal... More

A very quiet and relaxed resort located in Amed inside a fishing village. The rooms are neat, huge and clean. The open air bathroom is wonderful. The pool is quite small , when the hotel gets full might get a little crowded. They were just couple of us on the day we stayed hence it wasn't much of a trouble.... More

Thank you for your review and staying with us, glad you enjoyed your visit...answering your review is a great way to let people know about the resort...not sure of the size of the pool, but never been overcrowded, as guests come and go at different times, plus the ocean is on our door step with so much coral and marine... second time i have stayed there, the service is amazing, even though they were renovating, we were not inconvenienced at all. This time we rented a beach front villa with the balcony over the beach, this was so relaxing and peaceful. the rooms were exceptionably clean, the price very reasonable. will definatly return

We want to echo the comments of earlier guests. This is a great value, small resort right on the beach, in the middle of a fishing village; a very interesting and relaxed part of Bali. If you are looking for 5-star accommodations and nightlife stay in the south part of the island. Also, since it is a 2-3 hour drive... More

My husband and I just stayed at "life" from Dec 18-20. We could not say more about this resort. It's quiet, peaceful- a nice break from the hussel bussel touristy places. The staff were definitely the highlight. They were helpful, attentive, friendly and simply just genuinely nice people. One of them, Wayan, arranged a cooking class for us about 2... More

The Owner of this hotel planned things right! She blended local flare, beautiful location, stunning views, and low-key elegance - all in one place. Although not a 5-star hotel, there is sooooo much to like about it! First of all, it is located in a village, on the ocean - far away from the crowds of Denpasar and other beach... More

Nov. 2013, room was the Sunrise, on the beach: The hotel has beautiful grounds and landscaping set in an area where there are locals fishing on the ocean side of the hotel and rural farm life on the other side of the hotel.
