This is a small but nice place to stay. It has small individual villas that have a basic room, with a rooom upstairs if you have older children (ie over 5) and a lovely outdoor bathroom. It is really relaxing as there are no TVs in the rooms and all you can really do is relax, read and snorkel around... More

It is a beautiful setting and very nicely designed place. I stayed in the main house which has great decor and a light airy feeling to it. The bathroom is outdoor which is lovely and the beach a 100 yards away. There is some amazing snorkeling at the far end of beach with beautiful coral. The staff are helpful and... More

This hotel pays a lot of attention to detail. Everything is very well kept. The pool is clean and beautiful. Landscaping is lovely and constantly groomed to perfection. Staff is friendly and helpful. We had two dinners in the restaurant and they were both absolutely delicious and so reasonable. We had Mahi Mahi one night that had come in on... More

Life in Amed was truly a lovely and relaxing experience. I arrived there on a group retreat wound up, stressed and overwhelmed from general life responsibilities. Sarah and her amazing and kind staff made me feel so welcome and comfortable I immediately began to peel back the layers, relax and became present with myself which is something I had not... More

This was my most enjoyable trip in Bali. I am an American and live in Ubud, Bali and needed a retreat near the ocean away from hordes of tourists and loud bustle of Ubud. This place was HEAVENLY. I spent 9 days there. Everything about it was incredible, including the detail on everything from the landscaping to the room details... More

My husband and I stayed in this resort for 7 nights (13 - 19 May). Having researched thoroughly and emailed Sarah with a couple of questions before making our reservation we were very happy to have chosen this super boutique resort. Why do some people complain when they're the ones that have chosen a particular bungalow or villa type. With... More

I live in bali and took my sister to amed for a night. We stayed in a villa at the front right on the water. Avery nice room and perhaps the curtains could be updated or be fitted better, this was only in the bottom bedroom .. There was only one shower and toilet and perhaps 2 would have worked... More

We were looking forward to our stay here, based on the good reviews, but it didn't live up to our expectations. We stayed in a bungalow near the pool, but found it to be quite noisy from the road traffic. Our room didn't have a fridge, and it was not possible to get ice for drinking water. Apparently there are... More

Hello, Thank you for your review, we really appreciated feed back. We have never recieved complaints about motorbike noise before so I did a little detective work and found a neighbour whose bike was in need of repair, so we have taken his bike to the repair shop and paid for the work to be completed, now should not be... A fine place to stay, but really not up to the rave reviews posted here, or the "posh" and "upscale" description by Lonely Plant. The individual cottages are nice enough, nothing wrong there, but really a bit too cramped next to each other and around the cute pool. The Perfumed Garden Villa was being used as the restaurant at the... More

we stayed at the hotel in summer 2013 and I find the experience one of the strongest and special we had in Bali. The place is very nice, claen and comfortable, with swimming pool and 2 steps from the beach (you might need to use plastic sandals for the little stones but the water is clear). you are in the...
