Solaluna is the best place in Amed, as warung Enak is the best restaurant in the village. Gedé has two accommodations for you: a homestay double ensuite in a small garden, and a bungalow on the beach with terrace. Which one you think is the best?! We stayed two nights in the former, just because there was no availability on... More

Solaluna homestay was a highlight of my 4th trip to Bali... I have had the pleasure of 3 nights staying in one of the beach front cottages, and to me, it was my piece of paradise... The friendliness of Gede and Wayan, the owners was lovely, not intrusive, but willing to help with anything I wanted... which, to be honest,... More

I came late at night and was welcomed by staff. Bungalow was right on the beach, great terrace with chair and coach. Breakfast was served on this terrace also. I was there for only one night and would like to stay longer.

We arrived in the middle of the night after a long journey (flight and car trip) and were happy to just crash. How nice to wake up to a lovely setting right on the beach with a mini garden out front and breakfast served on your terrace. The room is clean and comfortable with a king size bed and quirky... We were only able to stay for one night because we did not have a booking. I wish we could have stayed longer. After a long drive on motorbikes from permuteran and hours of looking at lots of run down and not-nice accommodations, we were so glad to find this place. We felt really comfortable here. The bed is big... More

The Solaluna Beach bungalow is just lovely! Two separate bungalows right on the beach, with a little well maintained garden full of tropical plants. The room is big, with a large comfertable four-poster bed with mosquito net. There is a ceiling fan as well as airconditioner, a fridge full of water, beer and coca cola. The bathroom is pretty, with... More

We stayed a few nights at Solaluna and we had an amazing experience. Everything felt very local and not too many tourists around so we had the beach with its amazing clear water almost to ourselves. The owner is great - he even brought back some suckling pig from the market which we had been dying to try! We cannot... More

I stayed here with my husband and 8 years old son. The room quiet spacious for us, even we can added an extra bed. Breakfast was huge for our indonesian stomach, location near the main street but not too noisy. Its very value with the money, although I booked the room without ac, they still give us the ac service.... More

We first stayed at kembali hotel, which is close to the solaluna. As we were not fully satisfied and as the price was more interesting at the Solaluna we decided to try this home stay. It was a very good choice: -the room is very comfortable and clean (air con., hot water, room service...) -the location is perfect, just in... More

I came to Amed (for 5 days) to dive the USS Liberty and spend all my time in the water with turtles.... but after I arrived I found myself extremely happy to also spend time on the lounge on the verandah or on those on the beach. There are two airconditioned bungalows and each has a very comfy king size... More
