It's an Ok place to stay...but that's it..run and managed in a fairly unprofessional way..ok if you have one of the cheaper rooms and don't intend being around all day and just want a place to sleep..the staff are friendly enough but sit around most of the time smoking...don't book the luxury rooms here as they are far from that... Stayed 5 nights in a "Luxury Room" paying just over £30/night on Agoda. The room was a good size with a great bathroom (it has hot water too which was bliss after the Gilis). Everything was spotless, room is cleaned on request, just leave your key. Everyone was very friendly, great food and a good pool. Nice seating area outside.... More

We stayed in the cheaper bungalows in Wood with no aircon. Generally we had a nice stay at Citra Lestari. We enjoyed the central location and the services offered to guests (scooter rental, diving club with price reductions if you combine accomodation and diving, swimming pool,...). The bungalow was ok for the price, not so clean but well, in Indonesia... More

Citra Restart in Amed was a welcome change to Legian, quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly. Rooms were of a good size, however my did not have tv, i was told that any tv they have is in Indonesian. The pool although small was still nice to take a dip in. Breakfast is basic but good, all... My husband and I stayed here for a few nights during our stay in Amed while going on day trips to dive and explore the area etc. The night before we moved in here we had stayed in a tiny Warung room for Rp 150,000 that felt like a hundred degrees and we hadn't slept much, so moving into this... Day 1 - staff all polite, room 12b (not so luxurious), fan & A/C working, all wood interior, no fridge, bathroom dirty, scum in sink, on tap and shower. Toilet ok. Garden is very nice, infinity pool is also used by dive school. Booked two days diving, hired a bike for 50,000 (no fuel), Meal - chef special, ok, cola... More

Had a wonderful stay here, Made and his staff were really friendly and helpful. Really good value for money too. Restaurant within the place, has some Indonesian dishes you can try to (recommend Chicken Tutu), nice swimming pool, each "hut" has its own space so good privacy, beach and sea is 2mins walk opposite, you can also rent scooters for... I've just stayed at Citra Lestari for about 4 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had one of the newer aircon rooms at the back, which was very clean and simply, but nicely furnished. The room has a good size outdoor bathroom and a comfy double bed, which seemed brand new. Big terrace out front with a sofa for lounging... More

I stayed there 2 nights at the wooden cottage with my family. Very comfortable and great price especially for budgeted holidays. The rooms and the whole place was clean, I didn't encounter any roaches even once (important information for those with phobias), and topped with friendly and fast service. Just minutes away by foot from the beach and nearest yoga... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Citra Lestari Cottages are located on the main road in Amed, Bali, Indonesia. We opened our Inn in May of 2011 and we have 2 standard and 3 deluxe bungalows. Our deluxe bungalows feature air conditioning and hot water whereas the standard bungalows have ceiling fans and cold water. The bathrooms are done in traditional Balinese style, meaning that each bathroom is in a private outdoor courtyard. This is quite comfortable as the average temperature in Amed ranges from 28-32 C. All bedrooms feature thick queen sized mattresses. Our Inn is located across the street from the beach (~35 meters). There is a nice healthy reef right off the beach and we have snorkeling equipment available for rental. ... more   less
