Stayed at Palm Garden in July 2014 with my wife for four nights as part of our honeymoon in oceanfront cottage #9. It was a nice stay but there were aspects that could have been improved. On arrival the staff were friendly, taking our bags to our room and greeting us warmly. The cottage was nice enough, clean and nicely... More

So we stayed at Palm Garden Amed for 10 nights in Nov. 2014, and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. We are definitely planning to go back next year. During our stay we had a peep at other hotels in the area, and this one seems the best by some distance. We are a young couple from Perth and we were... More

The pool and garden landscaping are maintained to a high standard, the villa room was excellent but the addition of coffee and tea making facilities would have been appreciated. Food again could not be faulted, fresh fish could be ordered the day before and was well prepared and presented as were all dishes. The reason we have not awarded 5... More

We found Palm Garden Resort via Tripadvisor and it certainly didn't disappoint. The resort is the perfect size and has a very high level finish. I haven't seen this attention to detail in many other resorts in Bali. The staff are all local and the Swiss owners are very welcoming. We didn't expect to eat here much but the food... More

Well, what can I say about this place. I have never left a poor review on tripadvisor like this, and i never thought i would have to. I live in Ubud, Bali and regularly take trips throughout the island. On this occasion I took a trip up to Amed for the weekend. Before going I managed to locate Palm Garden... More

It's hard to know how to fault Palm Garden Hotel. We arrived for 5 nights, as the first leg of our honeymoon. We extended our stay to 11 nights, which was such an easy decision. Why? - The owners (Annie and Orlando) were fabulous hosts - caring and happy to signpost you to local facilities/attractions (tip: go to Bali Asli... More

We stayed in oceanfront cottage #9 and #10 and loved it. We recommend not staying in oceanfront cottage #10 that is on edge of property as we could hear the neighbors washing up and talking right across the semi wall of the bathroom. Both had a cottages had a plunge pool, but it were so dirty we had to continue... More

Palm Gardens Amed is a fantastic small resort hotel right on the beach in Amed that reminded us in some ways of a miniature version of the majestic Oberoi in Seminyak. All the staff and the owners, who greeted us, were professional, warm and efficient. Our villa was amazing! We had villa 10 right on the beachfront with a private... More

We stayed for four night in villa 9, the beachfront villa. Ok this was the best villa at the Palm Garden but whichever room/villa you stay in you will have a great stay. Orlando and Anna run a lovely hotel, the attention to detail is great, everything is kept up to a great standard, very clean the best thing for... More

We stayed for 5 nights in Villa 9 right on the beach with our own plunge pool, very relaxing . The resturant was overlooking the pool and the beach, a very tranquil setting. Service and food both excellent . Amed is not a real touristy area, the villages around very original and unaffected , some other good resturants in the... More
