The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Every detail has been thought through and it is beautifully executed. The standard rooms are not comfortable but the villas are very nice and well worth the extra money. The pool is beautiful and great for a dip. My dissapointment came from the owners of the resort. I booked a standard room. The air conditioning... More

We were looking for a nice private pool villa in a good diving area anywhere in Bali, when we discovered Amed, and then Palm Gardens. Amed is like Kuta was about forty years ago; peaceful, not too many tourists, narrow roads and a little remote, which translates to 'relaxing and very easy going'. We had already spent a week in... We found this place on tripadvisor and sounded great for us to stay so we booked 4 nights through here. But when you click book now it takes you to a different website with a completely different resort called "rising star". And the price is different also it's not 30$ it's 100$ a night for Palm garden. I contacted trip... More

We just drove up to Amed on a Sunday without reservations for one night, all is new and clean, we stayed in a 'bungalow' type of room, which is the lead-in category, there are also bigger rooms with a small veranda and two villas, staff is very friendly, food and b'fast are just great, nice pool area, all-in-all a very... This hotel is one I'd suggest to everyone I know and anyone thinking of going to Amed. It was extremely difficult to find any issue with this hotel/paradise. There are only a handful of staff, which isn't an issue whatsoever. They maintain the place immaculately and are very helpful, welcoming and go out of their way for you. The layout... More

Simply lovely. We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. We had the ground floor of a 2 storey building looking over the sea, with its own plunge pool. Beautiful bathroom and really comfortable bed. Watched the fishing boats coming back at dawn one morning. Lovely pool, good restaurant and service. Heaven.

We stayed in Amed for 9 days, both as a base for diving the wondeful sites around amed and to visit Bali and its acctraction. And for relaxing. Palm Garden is a very nice, quiet and clean place, with separate villas all around the pool and very close to the beach and to the sea. As everywhere in Amed, the... More

Stayed at Palm Garden in July 2014 with my wife for four nights as part of our honeymoon in oceanfront cottage #9. It was a nice stay but there were aspects that could have been improved. On arrival the staff were friendly, taking our bags to our room and greeting us warmly. The cottage was nice enough, clean and nicely... More
