Basic room but great balcony, wonderful view. Hotel is steps from the beach. Breakfast of fresh juice, Bali coffee and banana pancake is delicious. Dinner was not included in our rate. Snorkeling is great just right there. People can be a bit annoying on the beach trying to sell you massages and boat tours. That being said, I had a... More

I wanted Pondok Vienna Beach to be great. The location, the view, the beach, and our room were great. The staff at the hotel was an annoyance that got increasingly worse as our stay went on. It started with airport pickup which I had arranged with the owner ahead of our arrival. I was told that even though we were... More

The hotel is basic but it's ocean view, has AC, hot water, decent restaurant. For the money it's amazing. Snorkeling is great just off the beach. The hotel does not provide the umbrella or the snorkels however it's not a expensive to rent. Would stay here again.

We keep coming back mainly because of the position right on the beach and stunning views. The staff are like old friends. The 'new' restaurant area, kitchen and four newer rooms have been well used and could do with a lick of paint and some maintenance work on window catches, toilet cysterns, shower attachments and door locks. But the price... More

Really slow service of restaurant, only for fried rice I am waiting for more than 50 minutes. Think twice to go to the restaurant. I am not staying at the room. The place is good looking to the beach. The price is so so compare to the value of food.

Seriously! We loved this hotel. With advice from someone who had BTDT we booked a downstairs room in the new building. Construction was simple - two beds, a double and a 3/4, mosquito netting, a cabinet, and a small table in the room. The bath was equally sparse and spacious. Staff came in daily to sweep up a bit, mop,... More

We only stayed 1 night here..fantastic location right on the quiet beach. It's not a big fancy hotel but definitely a good choice if you are passing through. Rates were at rp200,000 per person per room.. Included breakfast and dinner off the dining menu(think my dinner would of cost 100,000 by itself) so for value, well worth it! Room was... More
