We had a suite room which was the highest category room at this hotel. It is actually not a suite … just one room with a good sized balcony and the second (twin sized) mosquito netted bed outside on it. It had an alfresco shower room and separate toilet room. The room was very dark with a broken lamp and... More

I have been to hotel Amed cafe with my friends. I went to spend our term break and after exam. The staff was friendly and they served us very well. The location of hotel Amed around 30 minutes by motor bike from amlapura. They also served equipment for snorkeling and canoeing. The prices of the equipment little bit expensive for... More

Thank you for a nice stay. Helpful staff, well organised activities. Good breakfast though we found prices for dinner / lunch a tad cheaper elsewhere. Very pleasant stay in quiet rooms with quick access road to beach. Massage ladies next to cafe very good job. Clean pools, beautiful gardens with excellent planting and landscaping out of this world. Highly reccommended... More

We stayed here on a recommendation from our taxi driver and were very grateful to him for bringing us here. The place is just beautiful, all different priced rooms set in a tiered garden with two pools. We had a cheaper room down the bottom which was still superb and very nice for how cheap it was, the rooms up... More

Cafe is hotel, dive center, minimart, in center of the village. The restaurant has a real cook..too much of the food on offer is limited to a few "balise" dishers. Few have a real cook - Sail, another up the beach

We stumbled across Amed and it turned out to be our favourite place in Bali. We stayed in Amed Cafe & Bungalows in their rooms across the road from the restaurant. The rooms/pool/surrounds were GORGEOUS - felt like I was in paradise. The rooms were nicely furnished and clean, but not over-the-top or too expensive. Also, the staff were always... More

We were at this hotel for 3 nights in April 2013. Staff were excellent, room was really Balinese style, beautifully clean with beautiful balcony and daybed. No tv which was fine because we read, relaxed and would generally socialize more. Breakfast was good, just enough. Pool was outside our room and went in on hot nights for a swim. Beach... More

Once we found this place in Amed we ate here at least once a day. The Chef's peanut sauce is the best Ive ever had. It is local fresh balineese food. Best food in Amed. We recommend it highly it was so good.

Dined twice to give them the benefit of the doubt, both occasions dined as a group of 3. All meals arrived separately & by the time the 3rd was delivered 2 were cold. Doubt the sauces are anything but out of a packet. Won't be returning

I travel for a living so I am picky about customer service, location, pricing and amenities. My wife and I looked at 3 places in Amed ( 2 from Frommer's Guide) and Amed Cafe (recommended by our great Amed-based driver Atang. We found the best setting, room and price in Amed Cafe & Bungalows. Our first night was in the... More
