I have dined at Umed Bhavan Palace, Kota earlier but stayed there for the first time this week. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed and with a heritage look. The staff is very courteous and helpful. On the minus side - it was difficult to find out the phone number of the hotel on the internet. Maintenance of rooms needs attention,... More

i had been to Kota in May this year,Found this hotel through tripadvisor only.Pleasant stay, its near railway station so an ideal place to stay for the short visit. The outlet there where we had dinner is very economical,I mean we were expecting the restaurant to be expensive ,But even with Wine and other drinks, the bill was nominal. It was a... More

Umed Bhawan is one of the few good hotels in Kota. Being Welcum Heritage group property, one expect a certain standard of service. But Umed Bhawan fails on it completely. Swinton's Bar need refurbishment and close attention. One We were served expired drinks. Food is nice at Aarogan Restaurant.

Kota is a dusty and rough town otherwise. When u enter in the huge campus of the erstwhile campus, u get a good feel. It has thick tree cover. A 200 meter road leads u to this palace hotel. Rooms r big. Comfy bed. Bathroom is big. Good amenities inside. A good changing room I between bed and bath. Grt... More

This is a decent hotel in a town lacking many choices. The erstwhile Maharajah of Kotah's residence converted into a hotel and now run by the ITC group, this property is nestled in a wooded area replete with peacock, langurs and sambhal deer. We were there for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay, the room given to us was absolutely... More

A heritage property nestled in its charming mini forest, the palace lets you bask in the splendor of the days of yore. The place is owned by the Maharao's family but is managed in the characteristic ITC efficiency.Rooms are enormous, yet beautiful.Subdued lights, Rajasthani paintings, grand furniture and state of the art amenities and you have the recipe for royal indulgence. Stayed at this magnificent property for 2 nights. Unfortunately it was on a business trip and thus was not able to completely soak in the easy regal charm and sense of history that permeates the property. Humongous rooms and no exaggeration here. Each room is more like a suite with its own sitting area and dressing cum bathroom. The food... More
