A pretty and well maintained heritage hotel. The rooms are beautiful and charming - airy, elegant and comfortable, there are gorgeous antique pieces, and bookshelves teeming with classic holiday novels. The food in the spiral resultant is lovely but pricey. However, wifi is poor and there were frequent power cuts during our stay. The room was slightly too overpriced for... More

Enjoyed a relaxing 3 day break in Kerala at Raheem Residency, the accommodation is a lovely restored building which is comfortable and clean. It is in a lovely location right on the beach but a good walk from the town centre. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hot water is heated by solar power so in the morning... More

This is a historical hotel and a wonderful place to step back in time in. Fabulous restaurant and very friendly and caring staff and beautiful room and grounds. I was there off season in May and it cost 5000 rupees per night but pure luxury and enjoyed every moment.

We travelled to Kerala for a week of rest and relaxation at the end of three weeks travelling around Rajasthan and thought the 10 room Raheem Residency was absolutely wonderful. The traditional interior furnishings are in keeping with how the bungalow would have been when it was a private residence and the staff are so attentive you really do feel... More

We came to the restaurant for dinner and were impressed with the lovely setting of the hotel. Unfortunately the two types of curry we ordered were a huge disappointment- one was actually a poor version of a Chinese dish (Sauce straight out a bottle) and the other some variation of stroganoff with vague spices in it. Who knew you could... More

I have given 5 TA blobs as I think that the Raheem is a 5* hotel in its class. Do not check-in here if you're looking for clinical modernity. Do check-in if you value history, character, charm, location and excellent food. It is a boutique hotel with only 10 rooms. The location is great as it is opposite the beach... More

I was delighted with the room; one of the deluxe ones which is a part of the main house. The decor and finishings were to a very high standard, spacious, high ceilings, and very grand original bed! The bathroom was lovely, very relaxing, nice lighting and again, lots of room. The staff were extremely attentive, Mini in particular was very... More

We had high hopes for our evening meal at the Raheem Residency but unfortunately we left sorely disappointed. The restaurant was almost deserted, and totally devoid of atmosphere. Our waiter, while pleasant enough, went AWOL after our main courses arrived and from then on it seemed we were engaged in an elaborate game of hide & seek. The food was... More

Inside it's all white walls with dark wooden floors and furniture; outside it's palm fronds and greenery everywhere. The enclosed pool area is delightful. The rooms are a bit dark, but they were built that way to keep out the heat, and the furnishings are quaint if not antique. (My wife and I liked the step to climb up into... More

We stayed for 3 nights in a room at the front of the hotel. It was dark and smelt slightly damp, but the bed was clean and there was ample hot water. Breakfast was very good so we decided to have dinner there. This was a disappointment as the standard definitely did not match that of breakfast. Location is great... More
