If you are looking for a relaxed vacation/holiday for your family, this is a very good option. Clean and spacious rooms.The place is beside the lake with lot of green open space. Staff was overall very helpful and the food was good.

We stayed in Kovilakam for three nights in the lakeside room and our stay was pleasant. Rooms were clean and wonderful hospitality with delicious home-made food. The caretaker(Anish) was very helpful and suggested places to visit. Kumarokon is just a ferry ride and can plan for a house-boat stay/ride. Our overall experience was excellent and we will visit again...

Kovilakam is a very nice place to stay. It is very homely. It has got beautiful backwaters. U can hire nice houseboats. The food and the service there are very nice. . We have stayed here twice already - and visits were atleast 5 years apart. Both times we enjoyed our stay. The property is maintained well; clean rooms, good home-made food, pleasant and helpful staff, and all in a tranquil setting. No swimming pool, much less an "infinity" one. Or a fitness center.
