We stayed here for two nights by the Arabian Sea and wished we had booked for more. The hotel rooms are semi-detached chalets laid out in spacious, well tended grounds with pathways connecting them to the restaurant, butterfly garden, sports hall, spa, swimming pool, and beach. They are all within five minutes walk of each other. The facilities are all... More

I visited here in Feb 2014. The entrance of the resort will only tell you that how nice the resort will be. I entered into the reception and saw that many people were waiting for the room. The staff was courteous, he greeted, served the welcome drink and told that it will take 30 minutes to provide the room. We... More

We found the place very relaxing. The property is well done, with large rooms, lot of open spaces and friendly staff. There is a rustic feeling to the place and a slight air of negligence, probably because it is not very well staffed. It's not on the beach but, very close to it. That was bit of a dissappointment.

Kerala Destinations had arranged our stay at Abad Turtle and we had two cottages arranged for us, however as the check in time was 1 pm and check out at 12 noon we had to wait for our cottages to get ready. We did not mind waiting for our rooms to get ready as we were given access to the... More

It is such a fantastic hotel! Very friendly and lovely stuff, big green beautiful territory, amazing lonesome beach, morning yoga, extremely relaxing ayurveda spa - that is what made our vacation enjoying and unforgettable. We really felt like home and we dreamed to stay there forever. After 11 days spent here, we felt renewed and peaceful. We recommend this hotel... More

This place was idyllic. Set in beautiful surroundings and extremely peaceful, it is the ideal spot to chill out even if the location is a bit isolated. We were booked in here because it fitted our budget better than the neighbouring Marari Beach Hotel, but we had one gentleman coming along from there to admire our sunbeds' location on the... More

All that let it down was the restaurant, other than the buffet the al a carte was crap. No bread, no spinach, no ice cream ,no carrot halwa, no steak but there was chicken....well done or should I... We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our couple weeks trip around Kerala - and it was just right. One of the more expensive places we stayed in but worth it for level of comfort and service and food. We had a one room villa right next to the beach and it was beautifully clean and had... More
