A mansion, built in the early 19th century, it had its glory years, everything is there to have fun, 2 terraces with beautiful interior trees some tables, cushions, hammocks and even ultraviolet light, perfect for bringing a group . The rooms are minimalist, no hot water, so at a very affordable price and perfect for late risers. Because at 6:00... More

Just had 8 days in this wonderful heritage home. The owner could not do enough for us. He arranged an amazing backwater trip on a canoe type boat, ordered a tuc tuc to take us to Marrari beach and arranged for a friend to take us up to Munnar for 1 night and back to Madurai airport. A walking distance... More

The experience i had on both the houseboat and smaller canoe type boat were good, we enjoyed some great scenery and food. The garden at night is my favourite place ,... More

Cheapest double Non-AC room 600 rupees. Nice garden. Little expensive restaurant, but available porridge. Location available on Google map. Located almost 2 km from ferry station and bus road, and 1 km from beach, but beach dirty.

We stayed here for three nights whilst in allepey, and had a lovely time. It's situated close to the beach and railway station, and just a short rickshaw ride to the bus stand and boat jetty. The rooms are very well priced and spacious, and the best part is the beautiful garden, fairy light at night, with many places to... More

Here is our story of Vrindavanam Heritage Home. We did not pay much per night to get a room at the back of the home. To cut a long story short, I will give you our pros and cons: Pros: Location, garden, the ambiance, the people, budget stay Cons: Mosquitoes and mosquitoes and of course then there were mosquitoes and... The hostel is close to the beach and the railway station. The KSRTC bus stand is a bit further away. The house is really nice and the garden with the hammocks is a good place to just relax and chill out. The rooms are quite spacious, have a mosquito net without holes and are clean. The service is good, as... More

Hospitality - Excellent hosts, they offered to pick us up from the bus stand when I had called to just check the address. Energy - Lovely... More

We stayed for two nights (room 900 rps. no AC room) in the front court. The building is really heritage - it is old but nicely renovated, neat and in good condition. It is a backpacker's stay, the bar and restaurant in the garden invite for common evenings and dinner with other travellers. The rooms are nicely furnished, bathroom is... More
