Best ever stay, for business or pleasure! All rooms have a great view of the Kunshan Yangcheng lake or the city. Hotel grounds are amazing! Most impressed with the hotel staff and their services. Super!

The conference facility was good. The view of the lake from the room is great. I like the electronic curtain. The toiletary is good but there's no razor. The air conditioning in the room didn't seem to work properly. The air conditioning in the bathroom was too strong, and I couldn't find a way to turn it down. The 'Please... More

Stayed here for almost a week to attend a conference. I have been here before, but did not really get a chance to admire its natural beauty. The hotel is set right beside the famous Yangcheng Lake, which is made more popular every September by its delicacy, the hairy crab. The grounds are expansive blessed with beautiful landscaping, views of... More

Went to the hotel 2 months back and was satisfied with everything in the hotel. The lobby is a great place to slough through a lazy afternoon, with free flow of fruit tea. The ground floor houses the gym with heated pool, and more importantly, helpful and friendly staff. Also they have 2 restaurants on this floor, one serving mouth-watering... More

Our weekend at the Fairmont Yangcheng Lake was second to none. The friendliness and help from the staff was fantastic. The food choices at breakfast seemed to go on and on. The pool was refreshing and the surrounds are very well kept. We rode the bikes to the organic gardens and brought home 3kg of organically grown vegetables. The internet... More

Twice in the last few months we've splashed out an a weekend away at the Fairmont Yangcheng Lake and both times I've been amazed by the excellent service and facilities of this hotel. I do a reasonable amount of travelling, for work and pleasure, and this is one of the top hotels I've ever stayed in - particularly regarding the... More

This hotel is first rate in every respect, from the facilities, to the staff, to the location. The room was very large and very comfortable. The staff went out of their way to make everyone feel at home and was extremely helpful when we needed assistance. The best part of this hotel, though, is the lake. There is a beautiful... More

The view, the bed, the bathroom, everything is awesome! I had chance to visit 5-star hotels to see their facilities and rooms since my old job requires me to. But this one is definitely one of the best! And I was so lucky to stay there for 1 night since my friend was having a family day arranged by the... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Nestled along the shores of the legendary Yangcheng Lake, home to the sought-after hairy crab, Fairmont Yangcheng Lake is a luxury five star Kunshan resort unlike any other. Beyond our resort’s accommodations, guests will discover a city rich in history. Not only is it the birthplace of Kun Opera, the oldest form of Chinese opera, but the region is also home to the Zhou Zhuang Water Village, Kunshan Forest Park and Tinglin Park – all of which offer unique ways to connect with the culture – and the people – of China. With our location we are easily accessible to Suzhou attractions as well, a neighbourhood just west of Shanghai. ... more   less
