Mealea is one minute's dawdle from the Crab Market. The French manager and Cambodian staff went out of their way to be helpful. Rooms are large and well appointed. Great value, great service and Kep is charming.

I stayed there in August 2014. I was told that my chosen room had a problem with hot water & so chose another, more expensive room. As it turned out that room also had no hot water & so I should have kept to my original choice - at least that way I would have avoided disappointment! The room had... More

We spent 3 nights. Under new management and a few things to be changed but overall quite happy. Staff couldn't be friendlier. No variety for breakfast but nice just the same. Definitely needs safes to be put into each room, we didn't like having to carry around our money and passports everywhere. No hot water for 3 days for showers... More

Lovely hotel, great service, smiling staff. Lovely pool w/ great sea view. Breakfasts could be upped a notch or two and they need to consider offering options for guests staying multiple days so that the same breakfast is not repeated each morning. Great value for the rate charged. Two thumbs up!

Being under new management it had to make its mark again and it has made an impact on me, the one place where i felt really well looked after without losing any privacy. The staff is lovely, friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful in a colonial style (very spacious with one double bed and a single one), very clean... More

I had stayed At the Mealea Resort several Times when it was The Champey Inn. It is under new ownership and back to its full glory. Rooms are fantastic and the bathroooms are the coolest I have seen out side but inside. The Grounds are covered in sweet smelling flowers. And is located 30 feet from the sea, 500 ft... More

Decent place, excellent attention from the staff. Quiet and cozy and really close to the crab market. Stayed in room 1 with no issues related to smells as someone commented. The pool is good enough and the 6 sunchairs were never all taken. Were there during khmer new years which means it's supposed to be crowded but fortunately was not.... More

MeaLea has been a highlight of our 2 month travels in Thailand and Cambodia. Huge room with double and single four poster super comfortable beds. Private terrace to each room with its own little lily pond. Swimming pool overlooking the ocean and minutes away from the crab market. We just came back from Kep. We spent 3 nights at the Mealea Resort. It was a pleasant stay. We got room number 8 after been transferred from number 1, where there was a strong sewage small. Staff is helpful and very kind. The location is great. Definitively, I recommend it and I will stay there next time I go... More
