Stayed here for a few nights, we originally planned only 1 but ended up extending in the morning we were supposed to leave because we were gutted to be going. I actually had food poisoning, picked up in Phnom Penh then came down with it just after we arrived in Kep. When I told Dominique he made sure to look after me; checking up on me whenever I made it down to the bar area and when I was finally able to eat he made sure the food wasn't spicy or anything that would further upset my stomach further. The place itself is so peaceful, it was just what I needed to recover. Comfortable beds and quiet surroundings with the national park just next door. When I felt up for going out again Dominique gave us a map and drew on useful stops and the like before showing us how to get there. If I ever go back to Kep, which hopefully I get a chance to, I would definitely be heading back to stay here and would recommend it to anyone.

Stayed here for one night during Khmer NY and it was a lovely oasis away from the craziness. We arrived very early but the host / owner Dominique I think his name is had no issue taking our bags while we walked in the lovely national park. Came back starving and had lunch..our air-conditioned double room was ready so it felt good to clean up and relax. We left really early the next day and the staff were up with us to make breakfast. We were so happy to go on our bus journey with full bellies! Thanks to all 😀 5 minutes walk to town and same to the park so great location and great friendly accomodating staff. Room was big and spacious, Aircon was quiet enough compared to others, bathroom is typical Cambodian.

This modest accommodation business establishment is situated along the main highway, just about 10 minutes (by walk) from "downtown" Kep (where the beaches, restaurants, and police station are located). A 15 minute walk in the other direction takes you to the Crab market. This place does have WiFi and decent rooms, and a nice restaurant that serves up Western fare and affordable drinks. The staff here are friendly and knowledgeable in the area. I STRONGLY recommend this place to anybody in the Kep area that is looking for a wallet-friendly home away from home.

Fans doesn't work. Our room was dirty and full of spider webs. I have to wake up twice and get a paper to use as a fan. There is no standard set at this. Pillows, towels and almost everything in the room is old. You will only get 1 toothbrush even thou there's two of you.

We spent two nights here and had a great stay. It took us a little while to appreciate the qualities of the place. The room was large with a decent size bathroom. The bed was comfortable and had a mosquito net. The AC unit was a little erratic. The common area was relaxed and had plenty of seating. There is also a snooker table. The wifi worked well in all areas. We ate breakfast and a couple of meals in the restaurant and the food was really tasty. The owners are lovely and gave us good advice on the area, the national park and how to travel onwards. The location is really close to the National Park entrance and a short walk to the Crab Market and beach. There is a bar stocked with a good array of drinks. Also if you are a cat lover missing your pets they have two cats which are really friendly.

My 2 teenage sons and I thought we were getting a 3 bed room, but we were pleasantly surprised to be directed to a small 2 bedroom apartment behind the reception. I found the staff to be friendly (as were the cats!). The location is handy, set back from the road and about 5 minutes walk to Kep Beach. Would definitely stay again.

We initially stayed at TBH for 3 days in Kep but liked it so much that we extended the stay. During our travels through Asia, we wanted a little bit of Europe around the Christmas period and we weren’t disappointed. Dominique and Davy were wonderful and accommodating hosts, as were all the staff here. The room we paid for was basic as we didn’t want to spend too much on the stay but it was bigger than other rooms we’ve had in Cambodia for the price. Room 010 was en suite and quite private which was nice. There was so much that we enjoyed but the most was the food. On the first night I had the Cambodia burger and the sauce that they put on this was perfection. I wish I’d gotten the recipe... it was all handmade as you could hear from the tenderising of the meat after you ordered the burger. Also, I fell in love with the muesli and vanilla yoghurt that was served for breakfast here. Lastly, the adorable kitten without whom we wouldn’t have gotten nearly as many laughs. Thank you to everyone at The Boat House for making us feel so at home, we will definitely recommend to any friends or family that are in Kep. You’ve done a brilliant job!

Rooms are standard but clean. Lightning inside is poor so at night you wont read unless you have a flashlight. Shower was good. Restaurant is pretty good. had breakfast and lunch and it was always very tasty. Prices are ok. Beer is draft beer which was very nice. Owner was very helpful in organizing a tuktuk for us and giving us some tips on walking the national park. the location of this hotel is great. 10 min to crabmarket and 5 min to Kep center. very easy to go for dinner to the crabmarket and walk back. I was always happy to return to the hotel after a day of activity

We stayed three nights in this property. Our room was good but pillows were not really comfortable. Bathroom was functional but a bit dirty especially walls and doors. Few times during our stay we had some water rise in the toilets (like a geyser: noisy and smelly...). Our second morning, we had been woken up by someone trying to open our room door. Probably housekeeping, but no knock on the door and no apologize. The all property is nice with a garden where you can seat and relax. There is a bar and a restaurant also but we didn't try them: it was a bit expensive [4 USD for a breakfast, 3,000 KHR for a 330ml beer]. WiFi was very fast and reliable.

I stayed three nights at this lovely place. The location is great: 5-minute walk to the Kep beach, 7-minute walk to the Crab market and very close to the entrance to the National park. The owner was extremely nice, I asked tones of questions, and he was always ready to give me all the answers I needed. He also helped me to book tickets for Rabbit island and for a bus to Phnom Penh. I read so many bad reviews about tour companies in Kep, but my trip to island was organized very well, and the bus was very decent and with working A/C (those who ever traveled in Cambodia, know it's a rare thing!).
