On our recent trip to Cambodia we had the absolute pleasure of stumbling upon this eco-hotel. Wanting to avoid the beach hectic of Sihanoukville, and get off the beaten track, I followed the suggestion of some articles about Kep and headed our family there. Once I read about Jasmine Valley eco resort, I was curious about staying overnight in a... More

Had the good fortune to stay 2 nights at Jasmine Valley. Rooms are immaculate, the staff is very accomodating, food is excellent and Jasmine and Owen are on hand to help with any issues that come up. A real retreat from hectic travel. We loved it. More

This place is a quiet and relaxing getaway from the busy world - it takes only 15-20 min by tuk-tuk to get there from Kep, and its setting in the national park is just beautiful. The treehouse I had (no 8., I recommend it!) had a beautiful terrasse with comfortable furniture - I could see all the way to Phu... More

Jasmine Valley is a calm and beautiful spot in the jungle. We saw giant geckos, frogs and a red squirrel in or close to our room. We slept like logs under our mosquito nets in the open air - although there were few mosquitoes. We enjoyed the cool showers, and had no problems finding our way around at night. The... More

We loved Jasmine Valley - especially lying in bed in the morning/evening listening to the sounds of the jungle. However, the 'eco resort' description seems to mean that there is no hot water and very little lighting on the paths. You'll need a torch at night and an iron consitution when it comes to having a shower. We were a... More

HI Greenlanegirl, Thanks a lot for your review - for the heads-up about things like torches (it's mentioned on our website, but it's always handy to have others reminding folks) as well as the compliments. I'm really pleased you liked the sounds of the jungle. Actually, the 'eco-resort' description has not a lot to do with lighting on paths, but... More

We had a family of 6 adults stay here ( in 4 rooms) and everything was as it said it would be. All rooms were well maintained and set in a beautiful environment. We knew there would be no hot water so we braced ourselves for that and the weather was warm enough so it didn't matter. Meals were great.... More

First we called very last minute from the bus from Phnom Penh on our way to Kep, but luckely they had a room for us for the night, then they even arranged a tuktuk pickup from the busstation to Jasmine Valley ($4,-). The bumby ride up the hill was fun. After a great lunch we discussed about what to do... More

We stayed 3 nights in the Eco lodge of Jasmin valley and liked it very much. We received a free upgrade to one of the tree houses since the bungalows were all taken. It was a treat with views to the ocean and the national park. The owner Owen (an Australian born in Papua Neuguinea) and his wife Jasmin (a... More

Most of the other reviews have covered everything required here so I won't go into a lot of detail. The place is amazing; it's like having a comfortable room in the middle of the jungle. Just don't expect air con or a 4 star western style hotel. Great things: - Lovely jungle environment in lush gardens. - Nice rooms, beds... More
