This beautiful retreat is tucked away amongst a pepper field  about 2.5 drive from phnom penh and 30 mins from the Kep harbourside. It's a great place to get back to basics and just do nothing but relax. During our 3 day mid week stay we practically had the place to ourselves which was great as it was our intention... More

The Vine is a retreat/pepper corn farm situated down a dusty road in the Kep provincial countryside. We stayed two nights and it was just what we needed to counter the bustle of Phnom Penh. The grounds are lovely. It's a new place (I think the Manager said it has been open for 2.5 years, but was built over 4... More

We loved our three night stay at The Vine Retreat. It is a beautiful place in a tranquil setting. Our room was great. Food was very good. Service and friendliness excellent. It is a great place to stay if you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing few days in rural southern Cambodia. More

Even if you do not plan on staying at the Vine Retreat it is well worth the 30 minute Tuk-Tuk ride from Kep for a fantastic lunch. On their menu they offer a test of Khmer food where you can choose three options out of six posibilities - possibly the best food I have yet had in Cambodia. Just go,... More

After spending three days visiting temples in Seam Reap, we were invited to visit The Vine. It was the perfect antidote to the dusty and bare landscape of Seam Reap. Located next to Kep National Park and 15 minutes from the Fishing town of Kep, by staying at the Vine we had the opportunity to be both in rural Cambodia... More

My husband and I stayed in Kep last September, not at The Vine Retreat. However, we quite literally stumbled upon this fantastic place on a trip out to look at the pepper plantations. Luckily for us our first attempt to go treking was cancelled by the weather the day before, so on the said day,we took off on the bike... More

Me and my boyfriend travelled Asia for a few months and we both agreed that the Vine Retreat was definitely one of the highlights of the trip! It's not a place to party but just to relax, enjoy the amazing views from the balcony, listen to the jazz music they play at the restaurant (they serve amazing food too!), enjoy... More

We went to visit the pepper plantations and relax and have a drink at the Vine Retreat. Eventhough surrounding pepper farms had pepper, I really wanted to by some from the Vine Retreat, however they had none to sell. Eventhough there was plenty still left on the vines. We didn't really understand why, and no one could really explain, as... More

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to visit us here at The Vine Retreat. We are glad you found our location and cleanliness to be up to your standard. It is unfortunate that you come just a few days shy of the pepper harvest. Pepper is harvested in March and April. Unfortunately at the time of your visit we had... More

Hi, Thank you for visiting The Vine Retreat and for your review. We have inspected our pillows and bedding to ensure it is up to standard. If this happens in the future, please ask for new pillows as we wish all our guests to have a comfortable sleep. As for the loud music, as this is wedding season in Cambodia,... More

Every hotel we stayed in in Cambodia was wonderful, clean, good location, quiet, delicious food, but the Vine Retreat stood out for its fantastic food. We were travelling with a one year old, so clean floors, hot showers, quiet rooms and food cooked to our specifications were very important to us. The Vine Retreat is in a lovely rural location,...
